Losing Cellulite

Intent on losing cellulite? From creams to exercise to liposuction, women everywhere are focused on losing cellulite.

Cellulite is usually found on the thighs and buttox and has an undesirable 'orange peel' look. Cellulite is really just fat that dimples because of the way fat cells lie in or between connective tissues in the body.

Regardless of what it is or why it looks that way, you probably just want to lose the cellulite - now!

So what can you do?

Most women don't have the money or inclination to pay for expensive cellulite creams or get liposuction. But there are more natural ways to remove the orange peel look from our thighs.

Here are 3 natural cellulite remedy fixes you may not have heard about that don't cost much and anyone can try.

#1) Coffee Grounds
Rub approximate 1/2 cup of warm brewed coffee grounds into dimpled areas (the heat helps to release the caffeine) and then use plastic wrap to trap the grounds against your skin. Think of this as your own spa caffeine body wrap.

Leave the plastic wrap on for about 10-15 minutes. Since caffeine is a diuretic, it helps shrink skin cells for a tighter look. Effects can last up to 24 hours.

#2) Cranberry Juice
Cranberries are a great source of bioflavonoids, antioxidants that have been proven to help improve circulation (one of the reasons for cellulite is poor circulation). Try drinking one glass of pure cranberry juice a day and you should see a difference in approximately 3 weeks.

(However pure cranberry juice can also be expensive - and strong tasting - so you might want to try watering it down a bit and sipping throughout the day).

This may not be as fast as the coffee grounds method but it will also give you the advantage of more beautiful skin and lots of antioxidant benefits.

#3) Seaweed Baths
Seaweed is an excellent detoxifyer and helps to release trapped toxins that are often stored in the fat cells. A seaweed bath can increase blood and lymph flow to circulation starved areas, break down cellulite, and move the resultant waste out of your body.

Take a sheet of seaweed (you can find seaweed at your local grocery store usually in the health food section), break it up and add it to your bathwater. Soak at least 10 - 15 minutes.

While it may not be as effective, this is still an excellent substitute for those expensive seaweed baths you get at the spa.

So those are three ways to start losing cellulite in a natural way. Remember however that - as cellulite is nothing more than fat - if you want to keep cellulite at bay, you should also follow a low fat diet, drink lots of water and exercise regularly.
