Indulgence

Our current Sunday routine includes a post-sinseh stop at the old-school bakery. But she isn’t there for the bread or cakes. She’s there exclusively for the jelly. Correction: The RED jelly.

Never mind the fact that the green, purple, and red options are literally made from the exact same agar powder and water. To her, jelly is RED. But hey, this is afterall the same child who refused to eat my all natural peppermint ice cream because it wasn't artificial green. If it's not dyed, it's not real.

But lately she goes to hunt down her signature red jelly, only to find a glaring empty spot in the fridge. The twist? The chiller is practically bursting with color. The other six shades of the rainbow are sitting right there on the shelf, perfectly chilled and ready. But she won't reach. For her, it's red or nothing at all.

I had to gently remind her that she only thinks jelly is exclusively red coz the very first time she ever ate jelly, it was mama’s signature red version. She made it red because she only had one single bottle of red food colouring/powder in her entire kitchen!Unlike mama, I actually bake. If you open my pantry right now, I have a whole plethora of food gel colours.

Uncle overheard us near the chiller and offered help. I asked for red jelly because she only eats red. Coincidentally he was making a fresh batch of red jelly in the kitchen, so it was still liquid. He gladly went in and poured a cup, I told him “no uncle I want 6 cups.” I had to put them in the fridge the moment I get home.

Here my girl is elated that she has lots of jelly. Traipsing her way to the car, swinging the bag while I gasped in horror from behind. I teased her “if I apply emergency brake, save the jellies don’t save yourself.”

Had to make my trip worth. I bought their coffee and chocolate cakes and a small swiss roll

there was no queue at the Teochew porridge stall, so. I quickly bought some 美人鱼 to snack. This goes really well with porridge.

On This Day - (9th Sep) #Reminders from FB#

9th Sep 2024

看了都哭。

Showing in SIN this month, which I'll truly appreciate coz I'm sure there'll be subtitles.

9th Sep 2021

Haven't had these for so long and I'm suddenly craving for them.

Peanut tutu kueh, ondeh ondeh, kueh kosui, kueh binka ubi, kueh salat, png kueh lots of sweet sauce, soon kueh lots of sweet sauce, kueh lopes lots of gula melaka, darker black carrot cake, black char kueyteow no hum, mee siam, mee rebus, mee soto with begedil, fishball or eggs with sambal chilli (sedap!), makmur, bak kwa, kueh rose, keropok, kueh lapis .....

Ehh…... Still haven't finish my list yet. Dry wanton mee, dry shredded chicken mee, lor mee with lots of vinegar, bak chor mee, yee mee, not uncle Roger's fried rice, shredded chicken horfun etc...

I'm amazed, are you still reading this? It's not even half my list yet! I haven't even gone thru other cuisines, fruits n desserts. Isn't it scary - the food that I'm craving now? They're all so sweet n so much of glutinous rice esp with all the kuehs I miss.

Footnote on comments written in 2021 :

S, in her comments, mentioned that it’s not right to have any cravings after being in keto so long.

But I’ve only been on keto for 6mths while I had normal whack-until-I-go-fat meal for 46yrs! So I wonder if she has any cravings.  But she did mention something about suddenly wanting to eat Chwee kueh (could be in her own post) ….. DUH! see my eyes rolling?

Honestly that post was simply a ranting post, I wasn’t going to eat all that. Can’t anyone read that it’s an empty vase talk?

When I answer "Am I your maid?" to my kids, it sounds authoritative

When my ka-tek Aricia answer me "Am I your maid?", I feel like ker-tok her head and tell her "yes! your are my maid, my massager, my little kapo-helper but definitely not my lullaby singer."

Girls sleeping. See same position; same top; drag their new present from Aunty MayLing into the bed also.?!?!

9th Sep 2011

Went to watch this highly talented Handbells Choir performance by Kinjo Gakuin University at SCGS 2 days ago.

I hope Athena and her BFF gain some insight into this as they're both in the school handbells.

* apologies for the noise and the sudden "light" you see.. Aricia snatched my paper which was used to hide the camera. Grrrr..Z

Amazon shopping

Was looking at Amazon after purchasing my MAC perfume and kinda tempted to get the laundry pods che-che used. It’s so nice smelling. It was a battle between : combine vpost now OR need to clear the too many things in the messy bomb shelter.

Maybe I will consider getting this once I 用完my KA pods? How long will it take me? I have no idea coz I do rotate between capsule pods and powder detergent.

An old entry on the laundry pods. CLICK HERE.

Oh no! I just remembered! I went crazy shopping for the Laundrin Sakura softener in all Donki I go to. The stock I have maybe can last me for slightly more than 2years?? 🤣Blogged about this in March. I bought more refill in the weeks after that so it’s not shown in the picture.

Definitely will be some time before I can get the pods.

I had the same thoughts - drafted 5th Jan #late posting#

This crossed my mind some time last year. I was wondering why my girls are dumb, and if parents’ genetic components affect the offsprings. Maybe so, that’s why my kids are damn dumb when it comes to academic.

And today, I got my answer.

extracted from : http://tiphero.com/moms-intelligence/

New Research Reveals Which Parent Is Responsible for Passing Down Intelligence

Odds are, your parents used to joke that they’re responsible for giving you “all your brains” — just like you and your partner probably argue who passed down the smarts to your kids! But a recent study featured in Psychology Spot might be putting that argument to rest for good.
The research claims that people are born with conditioned genes that work differently depending on if they’re from your mother or father and that certain genes come specifically from one parent or the other.
As it turns out, when it comes to your smarts, those genes are from your darling mother. Intelligence genes are located on chromosome X and since women carry two, that means children are twice as likely to get their intelligence from mom.
It’s possible that your father can pass on some of his intelligence genes to you, but chances are they won’t have an impact on your brain. This is mainly because the dominant gene (which in this case is the double X chromosome coming from your mom) is the more likely trait to actually be activated in the body/brain.
And, yes, it can work the other way:
“If that same gene is inherited from the father, it is deactivated,” reports the study in Psychology Spot. “Obviously, other genes work the opposite, are activated only if they come from the father.”
Just not when it comes to your brain power, apparently!
Furthermore, the Medical Research Council Social and Public Health Sciences Unit in the United States did a study on mothers to potentially determine what traits moms pass on to their kids. In 1994, the researchers interviewed 12,686 young people between the ages of 14 and 22. Their questions focused on the children’s IQ, race, education and socio-economic status.
One of the clearest results from the study was that the intelligence of the child was almost always correlated to the IQ of the mother.
We’re sorry to break it to you, dads, but the results don’t lie! Do you disagree with the findings of this study? Have you always felt you got your intelligence from your father or that your kids got their dad’s brain?

Term 3 Week 8

13th Aug

First prelims for both girls . Thankfully their dismissal time is almost close (half hour) to each other's.  I'm just so happy that I'm able to return home early everyday. I'm sure you can sense how frustrated I am over this exhaustive lifestyle.

Two weeks of madness and I think che-che's will spill into Week 10 also.

Slapped in between the O's EL Oral on 15th Aug. 16th and 17th is lil' one's PSLE Orals.

I can't wait for this whole shit to be over. I'll pop a champagne.

This lady speaks my mind

I teach my children to be nice to everyone, to reach out to loners. To be compassionate and kind to all. It's a good thing that my girls don't experience anything as drama as the author (eg. stalker) but there were many occasions they were probably mistaken as the outcast to spend time with the loners (so they become the loners gang), or worst being picked by some kids in school.

But the thing is, if I don't tell my girls to be nice and kind to all, they may grow up to be selfish people.
And I always tell them God is watching them, their actions will lead to their blessings etc.. but how is it the bitches still go undetected and scot-free? So unfair right?
So now, I don't really tell them what to do. Good thing is that my girls, because I've instilled in them since young still behaved as such, still are kind to people around them. But they've also learnt their lesson in a hard way when they were backstabbed by people they trust.

My fussy eaters & their breakfast - entry drafted on 12th Jan #lateposting#

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day as it influences how we perform physically and mentally. Always wanted to do my motherly duty to give my girls the best. But DAMN! I've got the fussiest kids around. And please my dear readers, don't say things like "my kids are also fussy" etc.. coz your kids aren't as bad as mine. I'll gladly trade my kids with you for a day. Yup! I'm that confident, you can't tolerate anything longer than that.

With girls like them, makes me don't even want to prepare breakfast for them. Should let them starve right?

So I was really surprised that they love American breakfast. After eating in Denny's where they were given American breakfast, that changed their attitude a little. And to get that response from them "I didn't know it tastes that good."Oh man! If only my eyes can KILL. There are so many things in this world you haven't tried.
And please don't pass a comment "that's coz you (me) didn't try hard enough." coz i did and it's not easy. I don't understand why God has to give me such stubborn girls!

Fussy Eaters
> Scrambled eggs - che che likes it after eating in Denny's. OMG! I did prepare that for her before and she didn't even want to "touch that yucky yellow thing".
> Pancakes - I used to prepare in bulk coz' I used a premixed japanese brand fluffy pancake. Hello Kitty pancakes; Anpanman pancakes; bear pancakes. Still..... they eat once or twice and didn't want it anymore. Still, I prefer to prepare something fresh for them, too much of prepared food is not good.
Ha! They can even complain that they have nothing to eat "so sick of bread". OMG! Want to give them bun, today they'll like it the following day they don't want anymore (just what am I going to do with the remaining 4 buns?? And che-che likes the plain leaf bun;mei-mei likes yam. Nobody likes char-siu or lotus or chilli crab bun.
Honestly, growing up in Singapore,we have the best of all the world kind of food. For example :
1) Soft-boiled egg + kaya toast. My girls? One like fried egg; the other hard boil egg. Selective over the kind of kaya spread.
2) Prepared roti prata - I airfry them but ...... they don't like it.
3) chee cheong fun, chwee kueh, yam cake etc...  - they never even tried before and claims it's not nice. ?!?!?!
4) Yoghurt - Refuse to try
5) Cereals - sigh..... this is a big struggle. Both have difference tastes and they don't eat their cereal dunked in a bowl of milk.
6) Fruits - aiyoh! I have to knock them unconscious first before I can put it into their mouth

Denny's Breakfast
The girls' liked these
  Peanut Butter Pancake
Delicious! The thick generous peanut butter tastes so fresh.
Chocolate chips and white chocolate chips cooked inside two fluffy buttermilk pancakes and topped with peanut butter cream and chopped nuts. Served with two sunny-side up eggs* and hash browns, plus your choice of two strips of bacon or two sausage links

Moons Over My Hammy
Our classic ham and scrambled egg sandwich with Swiss and American cheeses on grilled sourdough. Served with hash browns.

I like this Bourbon Chicken in skillet
Two grilled seasoned chicken breasts covered with a delicious sweet bourbon glaze, topped with mushrooms and fire-roasted bell peppers and onions, all atop broccoli and seasoned red-skinned potatoes.

***************************************************************************************************************
Since then, Jan 2018 - with a brand new year I embarked on a somewhat "a little more portioned" breakfast for them. Heat up the prepared pancakes or waffles, add scramble eggs. Milk and their vitamins. Sometimes would add hash brown or sausage. And they gobbled up. Not a very big portion, but they're eating more than usual. Of course there are lazy days when I just want to give them a swiss roll or bread from Breadtalk. It's not joke, cleaning up the kitchen and floor after cooking every meal.

Not forgetting this. Sometimes in mid day, che-che would drink a cup of Hot chocolate, topped up with whipped cream. Tried to replicate what she's eaten. And to think, she refused to drink hot chocolate before.

Oh my! When will my girls learn to eat everything? For the time being, I don't want to shorten my lifespan by getting stressed up / worried over them. Anyway, still can grow so don't really want to bother much about their fusiness.

National Parks - entry drafted on 26th Dec 17 #lateposting#

I noticed that che-che loves National Parks as much as I do. Hoping we'll have the chance to cover more parks in this lifetime. We bought an annual pass, which enables us to enter more than 2000 federal recreation sites. Each NP would cost us $30 per car, we went 3 and wasn't sure if we would go the 4th - Sequoia and Kings Canyon NPark. Even so, we have covered the cost for 3 parks.
This was partially the reason why the girls wanted to go US again in 2018, so that we can use the pass again.
I scanned in the card into the computer for keepsake, I passed the original card to che-che, the garang guni girl.

In G Canyon, che-che saw this book and wanted to start collecting the travel stamps

And then lil' one wanted one as well. So got her a different book

Hopefully more National Parks are coming our way soon.

Last day of table hogging

Today marks the last day of me hogging tables in United Square after 3 years. 3 years! I was a familiar face in Macs on Thursdays as I wait for the girls to finish their tuition at TLL. Usually hog the place from 2+ to 7pm.
It was only this year that we had to wait from 2+ to 5pm as I withdrew them out from their English tuition, lil' one remained in their Science class. But sometimes I wait alone as che-che needs to stay back in school.

三年 - 有点舍不得. Free air-con; free wi-fi. I lug things to do, papers to mark, laptop to do some typing. Anything that keeps me occupied except enjoying korean drama or staring into blank spaces or shopping.

The things most parents in Singapore do. Sit and wait for their kids. Oh! I must admit there were days when I really needed a place to sleep, I'd go over to the beauty salon for a facial. Service sucks. Three times I went; three times I had lotion getting into my eyes! I dunno how the lady do it, my usual beautician at another place don't do that. But... I desperately need the flat bed. There were days too where I'd go for a shoulder and back massage where I bought a package from Wan Yang. The good thing is that I can go to any Wan Yang with the card, so sometimes I do go to the one in Parkway.

Next week onwards, lil' one will go over to Mountbatten Square on Saturdays. Will blog about it the next time why the switch.

Meanwhile, today's the last day I can pack that nice Japanese food from the foodcourt.

Planning for 2018

I know this sounds crazy, really crazy. It's coming to the end of Term 3 and I have to think ahead for next year as well as the current final exams. I already have a yearly calendar printed out (to see everything in a glance) and marked the girls' major exam next year. Yes, you're reading it correct. I don't have one kid taking her major exam next year BUT TWO! 我会变成白发妈妈

I need to plan. I always plan. The square rigid me is too systematic. However I made the mistake of not being too square planning well during che-che's P6, I didn't know how fast things would go when P6 came. I procrastinated in her revision in P5 and thought that once the new year starts she could start her studying and revising. It was horrible, trying to cope with the extra workload from school; tuition works; tuitions; SYF. We basically got pushed by the big waves from one month to another; one test to another. Chop chop fast fast. No time to breath, almost as bad as a woman about to give birth trying to do her deep breathing in between contractions. I've got my life vest on, I guess I won't sink

So this time, I had the dates of when this year's (2017) P6s and Sec 4s exams are and jot them down for 2018. There could be slight changes definitely but at least I'll know when I need to mugged the two girls; when I need to start confiscating che-che's handphone.

Sigh...........why do I feel like I'm going for war?

I hope I'll manage better with sufficient time for revisions this time round. Things are slightly different between the two girls. Because che-che was in Handbells - niche CCA, extra time and commitment was needed for practices plus SYF was so timely in her final year. So for lil' one's case, I was at peace when she couldn't get into Dance (as SYF would also be in her P6 year) and gladly chose modular CCAs for her. But it also means no DSA option.

I've moved some of lil' one's tuitions to weekends so that she can have some time during the weekday to finish up school homeworks and do some revisions. I can't have the best of both worlds, so I'm taking some precious family time for the kids' studies.
Recently, I've cut down one tuition. She asked for it and assured me that she'll do her best for this SA2 as well as next year. I told her if she don't maintain her standard for her composition (normally scoring 37 to 38 out of 40 for chinese compo. English compo? Total opposite lor! ), I'll put her back. Threaten only lah! I can't wait to lax... all I need to do every Wednesdays from now onwards is to bring her to I12 to do her homework and pack dinner. She has approximately 1hr 45mins before I pick che-che up from school, hopefully that will help to keep us sane.

Wish me luck!

They are so different

Both were snuggled warmly in my tummy but they're so different, something that is predestined by their genetics components.

The difference between my two girls :

Noise Decibels
Athena
1) very quiet. But since she was the only child / grandchild at that time (enjoying it for 4 years), she talked to us a lot but was shy when approached by strangers

Aricia
1) very noisy. They're the opposite of the spectrum. Basically she's the Miss Congeniality, doing PR with everybody. The only worry I have is that she's too friendly and too trusting that she'd follow strangers.

Gangster and the Law-abiding Cop
Athena
1) The most obedient of the two. Tell her to sit; she sits.
2) So obedient that she lets the school Prefect to take down her name when she was late
3) Waits for me at the gate no matter how late I am. She doesn't move an inch.

Aricia
1) Tell her to sit; she asks me why and if she can sit with one leg up etc..
2) Little gangster ran away when she was late for school, maybe her small size helped her. Nobody can see her. Must nickname her the Ninja.
3) I'll strike 4D if I see her standing at the gate waiting for me. Even that sacred 2secs is precious for her though she spots my car. She'll play and be somewhere...and then you hear the loud shout as she runs out "wait for meeeeeeee......"

Sotong and the Meerket
Athena
1) The sotong who is always in her la-la land. Day dreaming, out of focus that teacher has to call her spirit to come back
2) She does her school homework diligently but needs me to handhold her to double check it's done.
3) The sotong who prefers not to be touched and would prefer to hide behind reefs. Would sit down quietly and praying hard that teacher don't call her to answer questions. Better still, you don't bother her; she won't bother you. The best thing is, I know she is hidden somewhere safe.

Aricia
1) The meerket who is ultra alert to her surroundings. That cute petite mammal with that sparkly eyes.
2) independent
3) Wah....what can I say about her? She shouts out answers; she keeps raising her hand. She's running around in class that teacher notices something small darting in class. The worry I have is - she's sticking her head out to see things (just imagine a group of meerkats all standing upright) , she might get killed by stray bullets

Tactless and the Tactful
Athena
1) Always so tactful in her words, to us and to her friends. Ehh.....I meant when she was young since I need to compare the same age as lil one.
2) I remember when she was much younger, I asked her if I was fat. She accidentally blurred out yes but then after that said something nice about me.

Aricia
1) Blurts out words without thinking.
2) The question I asked che-che before. Kids don't lie. Never mind, she has to korek korek more and offend me more. I wish I can throw a dagger at her.

Zen and the Rush hour NYC
Athena
1) Ever so relaxed about things around her. Throw her on a deserted island, she'll sit there and meditate

Aricia
1) Kan Cheong spider always rushing around. Throw her on a deserted island, she'll be running around the whole island trying to find ways to escape. Then she'll try to swim but decides to swim back to shore; then next minute will go to another spot and try to swim out. Just imagine the rush hour in NYC, cars honking

"Sorry girl, you gotta learn it the hard way."

And I totally agree and applaud with what the school is doing. Infact, I don't need the school to tell me what to do with my kids coz I have the mentality of giving and bringing up my girls in military disciplinary style.

I've never sent anything to the girls' schools before. I'd rather let my girls get the scolding from teachers. There were a few occasion when lil' one was in P2 or 3, she did her school homework but she didn't pack them into her bag coz it was hidden under her pile of additional work she did at home. I knew - coz I was tidying up her table the morning after they were in school. It was placed neatly on her table n she knew she was in trouble not only with teacher earlier in the day but she is going to have another hell nagging session from me (I think more with me coz teachers tend to be lenient). Well, she learnt her lesson after that.

Having said that,I don't carry their schoolbags for them unless I'm rushing for time n their heavy shell is pulling them back. I don't take pity on lil' one though she's small size and she choose to carry the whole bookshelf with her. They ever complained before when they were younger but my reply to them is always very harsh. "You didn't pack your schoolbag, it's your problem." They will just carry it n not grouch anymore.
They just have to take responsibility.

They are so different

I'm reminded just how different my two girls are.

School - related
Big one : Will be like in Lala-Land like that. She'll forget to pass me any notices / forms from teachers. She'll not write down homeworks in journal and sometimes forget what homework/s she needs to do. She'll take some time to think through because I don't like my girls to go to school without doing any homework/s
Lil' one : Very alert. Will shout and tell me what homework/s she has for the day. And then try to shove the consent forms into my face when I'm driving. Needless to say, she's the more responsible one.

Nudging
Big one : Needs alot of nudging that I do get really angry with her. I die already also must come out of coffin to remind her to do something. She gets her work done after lots of scolding.
Lil' one : She reminds me things that requires my checking / acknowledgement etc.. She's very automatic.

Misc
During our holiday in Shenzhen, we bused back to our hotel from an attraction. The girls sat together and I told them how many stops away we are to our destination. Somehow I napped in the bus, for maybe 10mins? I woke up and then muttered "where are we now?" Lil' one responded "6 more bus stops" and I noticed she has her fingers either stretched or bent to a number. She's the one who is very attentive. Her sister? Just waiting for us to tell her where she needs to alight.

God created them so differently.

Dreading 2017

In just two months 2016 will come to an end. We'll usher in 2017, make resolutions (though I don't make them anymore coz I never make an attempt to work out my resolutions. I need magic not resolutions!) and wham! girls are in their upper level in their respective school. Another new phase as they're a step closer to their major examination.

Though I've walked the whole primary level with the older one, it's a new start for me to handle all over again, in a different style as every kid is different.
Primary 5 is also tougher as it's getting them ready for Primary 6 and PSLE. The examination formats changed; the weightage changed; the grades dropped in first semester / term (you'll be lucky if the child maintained good results)
Been pre-empting her that Primary 5 means staying back in school more; more homeworks plus since she's taking HMT she'll have added work amongst some others. I'm not sure if she can cope but we'll try and see how it goes. Infact, I didn't have much of a break the moment the older one finishes her PSLE. I realized the P3 (lil one in 2015) was almost similar to what her older sister has been doing. The standard has raised up yet again!! That's a span of 4 years. I can't believe what would happen when it comes to my grandchildren time.

The older girl -
Hopefully we have made the right risky choice for her subject combinations. We had to drop her weakest subject, the school didn't give her the subject so I guess it's some big hint the school is dropping on us. She's taking her favourite subject - History. With heavy commitment in Band, I had to be realistic. She wanted this subject; that subject and I kept questioning her if she can cope. As much as I'd love her to take Pure Biology and Pure Chemistry, I don't think she can cope with it. Looking at "how well" she's been doing her time management for the past two years, with my constant nagging leading to harsh scolding ....  Nah! I think the less subjects the better for her, so she can concentrate on acing each subject. To think that she had been harping on doing EMP, promising that  she'll  manage her time well etc.. I'm just so sick and tired of her empty promises; of her talk but no action. No way! I don't want to have that commitment then realized she's not keeping her promises; I'll be like stuck to caring for a dog for life when I'm not prepared for hard work. Plus, if she takes EMP, she needs to spend an additional day after school hours in another school. I have no idea which day it would be, whichever day it is, it might 'eat into the time' of her tuition or piano lesson. Sounds easy huh? But I've got to handle another kid also. Though she can take bus but that means more time wasted on travelling.

Although she says she wants to get into JC, I'm just keeping my options open for her. I don't even know if she'll 'wake up' and work hard as she should have been. Anyway, hell no I'm not going to send her overseas to study if she fails miserably for her O'Levels. She can come out to work and then do part-time studies next time. There comes a time when I just want to give up on her. Should just let her learn her lesson the hard way.

Spoilt for choice

Definitely spoilt for choice for International schools.

Although I was insistent in enrolling the girls in SSIS (Singapore curriculum), I was curious with the other choices right infront of the computer screen. Took me some time to read a few websites, reading some reviews from parents (some may even date back to 7 years ago. *gasp*)
And I wasn't even looking at location. However it seems that expatriates are clustered at Minhang and Pudong, and there are alot of schools there. If staying in Minhang, it takes around 30 or more horrid minutes getting stuck in Shanghai traffic (if my memory didnt fail me) to reach the city centre.

American curriculum, British, Canadian, Hong Kong, European concepts etc.... Argh! I narrowed down to my preference to keep things easier.

I thought SSIS, so be it. I can bring some of che-che's stuffs over. I can buy assessment books and lull it to Shanghai (kiasu!)
But somehow hubby managed to spot & bookmarked this SUIS. The curriculum seems interesting. Using Chinese Math ( but does that mean teaching Math in Chinese? If it is, my kids will mati) and me being too boh-liao had to link up to PISA. Wait a minute! Shanghai is ranked #1 in Reading, Math and Science. Sunny Singapore is #2. I think the Sun has burnt my brain! Just what was I thinking? Parents hated the silly stressed system and leave Singapore , and here I am considering to put my kids in #1 ranked in the world curriculum.
Something else is tempting is 'Other language program' - there's Japanese!! I have kept some of my Japanese language stuffs, so unwilling to part with them.. It might be useful afterall!
I'm so tempted to fly to Shanghai to recce the two schools to check it out for myself during PSLE Marking Days. Most importantly the girls must like the school. Need to settle fast coz' there's a waitlist.

Shanghai United International School (Hongqiao)

Shanghai United International School Hongqiao is an IB school located in Minhang District.  SUIS is certified as an IB World School  using the Primary Years Program (PYP).
