When one luggage zipper closes another opens 🤣. 

Hubby just got back few days ago and in few days time che-che is going for another short holiday alone.

Daddy asked her when he heard our convo about the luggage she is bringing "how long are you going?" 😂 #bringsuchabigluggage#

In the meantime .. I'm stuck here together with lil' one who can't travel 😥

Che-che chose the flowers and combination. Lil' one wanted a certain colour rose but think it's too messy to have so many different type of flowers in a quite small vase, so I told her I'll get it the next round.

She's got good taste! The colour she chose really matches. Very 高いorchid, but orchid is lasting (I hope) so it can be gentle on my wallet.

The hydrangeas are browning but still quite ok-looking. 3rd week 了. Moved this vase over to coffee table. White roses from last week.

Date: yesterday

Place: lift @ MSCP

Characters : 2 men and a woman (me)

One man with a box, one man with a trolley, one woman with 3 manageable plastic bags.

Lift door opens at our level in MSCP, since I was at the door I held the door thinking the last man who came in should be out first, since he was with the trolley. Followed by man with box then me.

But no......we were like a bunch of "you go first" ppl.

The trolley man put his hand at the door for me, I said it's ok let me hold the door. He looked at the man with box, he also give way to either one of us.

Hahaha! In the end, trolley followed by box and me. It makes logical sense coz the door is going to slam into someone's body if neither of them can hold.

I've never seen such chivalrous action for so long.

Lil one told me today, 'Mummy, my Show n Tell today I speak very loud. The whole class can hear me." After picking che-che up from school. She asked her sister "Che-Che today I speak so loud for my Show n Tell. Can you hear me from your classroom?"

😝 *thinking to self* if sister can hear means almost half of the school can hear her.

Aiyoh! Over the weekend was Che-Che puking n having some stomach virus. Today on MC, kept them a distance n spraying Dettol. And then when I was not watching, they both shared a jelly n hugged n sat so close *slap head* - usually at loggerheads today suddenly so good friend. Now it's my skinny girl puking.

Sianz! Choy! At the rate I take care of them n sleeping with the sick child.... Better pop all my Vit Cs.

I didn't forget the dough but I had to do housework first. That is the problem I face whenever I wanted to bake bread, always have 1001 other things | to do. By the time I wanted to bake, it was close to prepping dinner. Baked a few to try out this new recipe in between cooking dinner.

Something is wrong with my weighing machine that I winged it and anyhow pull out any amount I wanted.

Obviously I didn't use my brain when I did the butter. 😂

Thought I wanted to do the same as the bread that che-che likes.

Coz it melted n dirtied the whole tray 🤣. Maybe nextround I should put in a muffin tray.

Both not bad but my opinion don't matter. It's the two fussy girls' opinions that matters.

I left 4 for them and che-che finished all the butter bread, she left only 1 choc chip for lil' one. I didn't tell her that is with butter topping but she knew.

Still in the music-y Miss Saigon tunes this morning so I started counting the number of musicals I've watched so far. 23. Not that many actually, can be more. Musicals like Les Miserables, Phantom and Miss Saigon watched it at least 2-3x

There are just so many musicals now, but I still prefer the old old classics. Let me finish all the classics before I go into the new ones. Any classic musical I've missed out?

Every musical is just so nice in their own way. Fast beat, slow beat, jazz, raising flags, giraffes walking in, jumping around too much, the sexy ladies with gueh-mo, scary cats with that thick make up that just come up behind you.

I laughed, I cried, I sing sang sung to the lyrics.

Then there's the "I totally had no idea what the musical was about even until now 😂.

All musicals stand out in their way but i believed I've said this before about one that stood out, the one that still left me in high adoration - Chang and Eng. No offence to my music friends here but I mean... I went to Broadway and West-end so I had that expectation. And I wasn't expecting much of a Singaporean production but oh I was so so wrong. [lt's just like watching football matches and you see them score goals so fast, watch in Singapore they run and run but score only 1 goal.]

Imagine if I hadn't made the choice to watch Chang & Eng I would have missed out so much. I still have the CDs but for the tunes I can't find any scores so have to play by hearing. If you hear me, bring back Chang & Eng.

Next one booked in June, few days after returning from New York

😂. Saw this there but didn't have the chance.

This is one I would love to watch but they're no longer in Broadway. 😭 The songs are so comically nice. Mel Brooks what do you expect. Coz I can't watch the musical, I watched the movie instead.

Our little nottie girl is back!!

Few days ago, lil’ one commented this year end would be the boring-est holiday ever! And what can she do for that “so many weeks” school hols. 

She was so looking forward to her Disneyland and the many stargazing 🔭 opportunities in NPs. (I also will miss the 🔭, last year it was cloudy where we went so I lugged the lenses n tripod there for nothing. Che-che would also miss going to her playground - Griffith - 3rd time in 4yrs if we could be there this yr)

So I suggested that I could get her a tent and let her sleep in our PES, since there are 🌲 🌳 and the “waterfall”, we hv that nature feel  🦟 🐜 🐀 here. Or we can go for many trails in Singapore, I didn’t even manage to complete the one in Sentosa myself so we can go and there are so many more to go around in Singapore. 

And yet she continued sulking. Look girl, you’re not the only one sulking.

ENTRY 1 : 

One day I was scolding the two girls n threatened I'd buy them a cane each. "purple cane for you (looking at Che-che) and pink one for you (looking at lil' one)." turned to look at Che-Che n continued scolding. I heard a voice "but I don't like pink colour. I also like purple colour." and that innocent pouty girl looked at me. 

Wah...how to get angry?!

ENTRY 2 : 

As u all know lil' one likes to talk, n her speech is clear. One day she suddenly speaking in tongues n sobbing. We all rushed out to see her ....a fly crawled on her leg for quite some time and she was so scared n nobody around her at that time at that time. 

I know it's bad but we really laugh at her.

ENTRY 3 :

This is how self-motivated lil' one is. It's vy late alr n we just got back home, still she had to grab a book to do while sitting on the throne. Wah...臭臭！

Tell her to stop doing work, she still continue.

I looked at myself in the mirror after washing the car, scrubbing the floor mats. So hot 🥵 but got nice nice natural blusher (doesn't look nice in the photo), I have no makeup now and look better than when I wake up in the morning. 😂

Woah! I love this!

All my 3 loves in one place - paintings (trying to act cultured), flowers and classical music

If only I have that many flowers in my balcony. But it means I need to do lots of gardening. #iamsimplylazy# #ineedamagicwand# I want to buy flowers now .....

For some reason I have no idea why I like these colours.

Maybe it's the contrast between dark and light?

I've never heard of Camille Pissarro but apparently the street pic is painted by him 😅

Something that came to my mind, I may be wrong, so if any experts can enlighten me. Coz this painting somehow reminds me of Starry Night so was Vincent Van Gogh inspired by Camille Pissarro? Van Gogh's paintings were dull colours before. Wait! Who drew what first? Or maybe it's just a coincidence of blue and yellow.

Parked the car and portioned out abit for lil' one. since she's holidaying somewhere, brought it to her instead.

A teeny weeny bit of beef lasagne, a bigger portion of cheese macaroni.

Smells yummy. I clean 😋 the cheese off the knife and

finger! Smells really good

And a really small piece of dark chocolate cake.

OMG! I almost forgot and wanted to lick the chocolate from my finger! Smells really good.

Then bought Starbucks for her. Ehh.... I hope she can sleep tonight.

Since I bribed her with her aunty N’s bakes n Starbucks, I think she wouldn't mind this homework pack right? Her evil mother never lets her off.

The reason why any diet plans that I go thru always fails ... so now I have no intention of any dieting 😜 Our supposed quick-quick-chop chop trip to Orchard saw us making a few stops along the way, gave in to temptations.

Never had lipstick on since masking up days started.

I mean, I usually don't really put on make up. As l usually run out of the house after I shower, to pick girl/s from school. Then I'll put my 💄 in the car when 🚦turns red somewhere. But somehow I do miss it. 💋

Something different this time, no Japanese please, so we went to Hans Im Glück. Pity dun hv her fav sausage.

(Immediately reminded myself she was quite unhappy in Germany when she saw so many food but had to take a long time to eat coz just had her braces on then)

Had a naked vegetarian "burger" myself. Not bad. We're given a set of varied sauces, and .....omg! the moment I dipped the fries in the sauce I'm brought back to the Xmas market in Germany. The smell! I miss 🇩🇪 Germany!

Went in BBWorks and gave her permission to buy her candles. It's like ritual, every year in Dec just days before our vacation, she'll be in that relax mode and start burning candles in her room. Then her 'pet' sister will sleep with her in her bedroom in that inflatable chair.

This tagline - find your getaway at home - caught my attention and I told her she'll probably need to get more candles this year coz we can't go US 🇺🇸 anymore.

And we can probably stock up on items since we won't be able to lug back some items. It's like we're making up for our lost trip. So we walked around the shop and it's so disappointing - they don't carry the fragrance that we're looking for here! Think another fragrance from the aromatherapy section is also not available here. Sigh.... how to rekindle the lost trip?
