Guy must be surprised why I asked him to put on my shoe rack or floor. I mean....how can one put flowers on shoe rack or floor right? But I thought it was my other deliveries.
Nevertheless appreciate the effort he removed lil' one's slippers to keep this space empty 😉

10th Oct - after eating the cookies. I drank ACV and continued drinking more water
All these came into my mind when I opened the cabinet, the fridge, when I was at the yard. Argh! Food n snacks everywhere.
Tho I'm not a rice person, I kindda miss nasi lemak.
Actually more likely I miss the sweet sambal.
I haven't had instant noodles, I like the indo goreng seasoning. Chips and GG mint cookies calling me. R.
Better put a stop to my snacking. I'II leave stomach for the last break-rules dinner
10th Oct - Dinner
Wanton noodles for self and hubby packed chilli 🦀 which I only took one small pincer. I didn't finish the noodles too. when I checked on the carbs count for wanton noodle, it's an alarming 55g!!
Stomach didn't feel good, the chilli was too hot. Good also ah!
End of my 4 days binge. Estimated I gained 2kg or perhaps a little less? (I was clothed in tonight's measurement so must factor that in)
Scary right? Just 4 days. Hubby said I ate a lot so wasn't surprised. But then it got me thinking, it took me long to lose weight and just a few days to put it back.
Will I break my cycle again? Perhaps unless it's for valid reason I will, if not I will continue to say NO!
Thank you for enduring with my nonsensical posts for the past 4 days. I won't be posting my food pics anymore. Time to be strict with myself.

Re-baked the cookies and they taste good. Very sweet so drank lots of water. Feeling so bloated, but still eating.
Finished up the whole pack since nobody wanted to
eat and l can't eat after. So 吃多多吧！不要想太多了．

Yummy! With lots of 醋 n pepper. Finished all and I feel so bloated. Can taste!
Headache.. dunno from the jelly cake or lor mee.
The Class of 2020 graduated yesterday. It was a bittersweet day.
It was a graduation ceremony of a different kind. No prom dinner which is a pity, but all these are just for show only if u think abt it.
I think I was more excited than her over the gifts she got from the school, tho we knew what they'd be getting thru our Family@CJ. I was more excited at how they did their ceremony, we had a comm member going around classes to show us virtually.
The parents were in the journey with their kids. Such moment!
19 - 20mths in school with friends is not a long time (this year cut shorter). When they return back to school years down the road, they will be transported to the hiding corners where they gathered together for gossips, the tables n chairs where they slump their tired head in the mornings and late afternoons, perhaps an inconspicuous corner in the auditorium to ZZZz, the tricks the not-so-young but still not so-old-kids pulled on friends n teachers, the hall where the echos of hymns n soft murmurs of prayers (oh how can I forget - their own school song n our national anthem) are heard.
As they lit their candles 🕯️, I'm sure it was a poignant and sentimental moment for all. Kids with tears trickling down or some holding back. To the teachers coz they're used to it batch after batch, perhaps they might shed a little tear or not.
The school, at every stage, is a significant place of a growing kid's life. It's not only a place for them to learn but to forge long term friendship. One more step into uni and then it's time to kick them out into the working world.
For now, it's CHECK OUT for the time being.

Was talking to my green fingers neighbour that I was so tempted to try to plant custard apple when hubby brought some from China for me. Then he told me in the nearby nursery, he saw dwarf mango tree and custard apple tree. 😃🤣
I think I've gone crazy. I think next time ah-lao cannot find the house which will look like a jungle.

One of her BD present that arrived late!
Che-che asked to check out this mala place since last week. We only made it the end of this week 😉. Guess this is the only chance for me to bring my big greedy girl out to eat this year(?).
Warabi mochi, gained popularity in the Edo period as what they claimed, is made from bracken starch. This is rich in fiber, which helps with digestion. It is also a good source of protein and Vitamin B1
I have always loved warabi mochi, shiratama dango, azuki and …basically I love Japanese desserts.
So when this came to Singapore last year it was it the year before in Holland V, I said I wanted to try. But nothing can convince me to make that journey all the way there. I chanced upon the board in Ngee Ann City sometime in May, opening in June. Fast forward months later, I finally got the chance to try it. Twice this week infact. That’s to make up for one trip I made before Aug where I joined the long queue but decided not to buy as I had to pick lil’ one up.
The first time I bought was on 14th Aug, when I misread that the Mid-Autumn Fair started 😂. Made the trip down excitedly only to see the men hammering the signages preparing for the fair in 2 days time. At least I got to eat my 翡翠云吞面.
I bought both warabi mochi ($8.90 for 5 pieces) to share and a drink each for che-che and myself.
The last time we had Seorae was last September. She reminded me that I ordered set lunch then.

When I've got a pea-size brain .. I rmbr some things and forgot abt the rests
When I chanced upon leek yesterday.
After that I realised I'm so cheapskate buy so little, should have a bigger bunch for main door and forgot about the balcony.
Very very simple.

This year didn't put anything in balcony coz for the previous year and the year before, the wind always blow down my hanging red 🍍

Took me/us forever to finish the Bordier butter. The last bit of the seaweed butter. (got it last Now. told u we're not really butter ppl) Thank goodness this not-to-my-liking butter is fertig. Still left with half of the salted butter in the freezer 😬

Lil' one saw the pan and said "it's like mookata like that." I asked her if she wants, I can bring a chair for her and let her sit by the stove, so she can grill food pretend it's mookata." (But actually she's not into the fried grilled food. She usually dips her food into the broth. It's che-che who likes fried food, so a meal is settled where we can satisfy both fussy girls when we go mookata
With the German imported curry sauce and curry powder, that can be bought here.
Not being too extravagant here but I got the curry powder from German Mkt coz theirs come in small bottle unlike the local ones where they come in big packs.
Spent a long time just to clean the bloody 2 cuttlefish skin. Is it the fussy me or what? Never ending, scrapped still have that slimy skin. #%^*!! Any longer, I would have used the toilet brush and scrubbed with Dettol.

One ...Aunty already put COUNTER CLOSED, she still insists that she has to open coz it's NY, no counters should be closed. Btw, she don't celebrate NY!! Then she rather stubbornly wait for her to go n come back when she would have been served in another counter.
Now this person before me...insists that someone
"since there's so many ppl vy free nothing to do to run upstairs and check for her something!" I looked around...eh.....maybe she wasn't looking at humans?? And can't she do a quick run for it. She's in trainers.

I haven't packed meals for che-che for a very long time. But since I needed to buy fishballs for mei-mei's snack tmrw, I bought che-che's fav sotong balls and asked if she wanted me to pack for her.
Should see her facial expression when I packed it into the Barbie container. She went "I don't like Barbie anymore!"
My girl grow up already..... But then ..... She chose the Rilakkumma pick n container and told me to pack in the My Melody container.
??!!?!? 😉
We first met 16 years ago, you gave me the impression of a gentle person who has a heart of gold. I liked you then.
Exactly 11 years ago, you officially became my sister-in-law. And we grew closer. You gave my comfort and words of encouragement for the next 11 years until you had to leave me exactly on the day we were bound related by law. By law or not, you had always been my great sister. I am glad I did not hesitate to say the precious three words to you when you were in hospital. You looked at me in the eyes, trying to tell me something and I think you understood my deepest feelings.
I felt relieved that you're no longer suffering but now I'm dealt with grief. I will cherish your memory my dear sister.
