The weekend

I've become such a homebody that I hate to leave the house on a weekend, except when we have to go out to have a meal. Today’s an exception coz che-che couldn’t have her haircut last weekend after cello shopping where Team Salon usually closes at 7pm on weekends. 

It was going to be a long day so only the 3 girls were out. Sent her to her cello class (the tutor has classes on irregular days for the month of June as he is travelling quite frequently). While she yi yi orh orh, I brought lil’ one to the hawker centre nearby to have her lunch. It’s quite 麻烦 to have classes outside, I was so used to having and switching all music lessons n tuitions to be done at home since 8-9yrs or maybe 10 years ago. And now with me wanting to nuah at home more, I have to drag my lazy body out.

On the way to Parkway, I dropped by the confectionery near their school. I miss the chocolate cookies. As che-che was quite hungry, she requested for waffles. Having said so, the years where I had to pack some of their lunches from the coffee shop or hawker nearby I have never bought them waffles from this confectionery 😬.

I love these cookies. The first time I had this was from an old bakery in the opposite block us in Tampines. Seng Choong, an old bakery in Marine Parade, sells this too. The chocolate filling for both bakeries are very generously gao gao. 

This bakery's filling is very thin, so apart from the old taste I miss there's nothing else I miss.    

Since we had to go back to Parkway, I made an appointment for my Lash Resurrection as well. As it was a last minute decision for their haircut, my regular therapist is fully booked for the day, no choice I selected another lady. (Hmm..还想感觉没做到 😒） We went our separate ways immediately the moment we step into the mall. As my appointment ends earlier than them, I went about running some errands before going up to meet them. It's Project Door Lock. Damn sian.... anything in the house I gotta handle myself. Bumped into dear friend MH, pity she was heading home to cook if not would be nice to have dinner with her.  

Another kena bluffed "I want to eat Project Acai" weekend. I didn't get to eat it again coz che-che was too full. Sigh...Next time I should go on a lone quest to eat everything in the east.  

Reached home at 6pm. What a day!
