SSO Concerts in 2020
As much as I'd like to go for more concerts this year, I needed to cut down as I feel che-che will need the time for studying. So only went for 2 concerts this year.

The Harry Potter Film Concert Series returns to the Esplanade Theatre in Singapore with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™ in Concert, the fourth film in the Harry Potter series. On February 28th and 29th, 2020, the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra will perform this magical score live from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™ while the entire film plays in high-definition on a 40-foot screen.
In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™, Harry Potter is mysteriously entered into the Triwizard Tournament, a grueling contest among three wizarding schools in which he confronts a dragon, water demons and an enchanted maze only to find himself in Lord Voldemort’s grasp. All will change when Harry, Ron and Hermione leave childhood forever and face challenges beyond their imagining.
I booked this in secrecy as I didn't want her to be so distracted. Nobody wore mask and I was worried.. May the fire and power of HP kill the coronavirus!
I began to regret when I realised it's a movie length. Gasp! I thought it was just taking a selection of songs. (obviously I didn't read it properly) She enjoyed it coz HP's her favourite.

Unfortunately this concert was cancelled. We were so looking forward to this as most of the songs are from our favourite musicals.

Months down the road, the world is in a virus apocalypse and many more concerts are cancelled. I still have two more tickets (che-che too!) that we need to redeem. Looks like things will only start in 2021?

The best clear night
On 22nd June 2020, at around 5+am we had such a clear view.
The sky was unbelievable clear. We saw so many constellations. Thank goodness, I didn’t sleep early then and quickly woke lil’ one up. Used the binoculars and omg! so beautiful
We never had any more clearer nights or (at least) the same clarity after that.

Nottie girl has something up her sleeves. When she was in St Hilda's Kindergarten.
She probably saw her sister wearing spectacles and thought it was cool to be seen wearing one. And so, when the nurses went to the kindy to do some checks, they believed her lies and I received the letter after that.
I suspected she was feigning it but then with my family all blind bats I couldn't ignore the letter too. And so at the optician, the guy told me she was feigning it coz he ran some tests and she faked it. He slid in a no degree glass and she said she could read. Haha!
11th May 2013
It was a family outing to Compass Point for our dinner and a jalan-jalan when we decided to pop into Best Denki for no reason. There was a Osim spot where the adults promptly sat down to test the massager. Lil' one said she wanted to try and she sat down. The neck massager was massaging her hair!! It was so funny that a guy sitting next to her burst out laughing, we laughed too and that made the SA to come forward - to be greeted by this funny sight. Tried adjusting to her level but failed.
This girl is so funny, she never fails to make us laugh.

Playing host to friends - A day of fun! Sakura IV
It's the start of the school hols and my dear friends who were due to arrive on Friday, arrived days earlier. Covid19 has caused some confusion, some disruptions to peoples' lives.
Nonetheless, I had to make full use of this chance to have a day of fun with my dear friend and Mylene who dropped by.
I haven’t met Mylene for 18yrs, she’s still as sweet as ever, grown up to be a polite fine young lady.
Che-che, tho had to be in school today and the next day, wanted to meet up with Aunty Leila as she missed seeing her last year. Both girls enjoyed themselves today but will suffer tomorrow with procrastinated school homeworks
A year ago, we probably missed bumping into che-che in this place by a mere few minutes when Leila was in town for some training.

However it was quite untimely that they had to close the mosque for cleaning as there was a case reported. Hmm..... the reality of covid19 sinking in, the severity is sinking in.

We read the notice in carpark, immediately che-che pushed her sister further up front asking her to keep more than 1m distance. I exclaimed “5m, 5m!” Poor lil’ one subjected to our teasing all the time.

Che-che went up with them, coz lift could fit last 3. Lil’ one decided not to go up last minute so I accompanied her. And tasked che-che to help me take care of them.

Summing up our dinner means our time spent together today has come to an end, till we meet next time.
The girls were hoping that Mylene will be able to join us in Disneyland end of the year. Of course I would hope to drop by Chino to visit Leila and Mike too!
