Kitchen slave & her music

Not really morning now but listening to this in the kitchen as I prep the girls dinner and their lunch for school / work tomorrow. I can do this leisurely today just cause it's HBL and no need to rush out of the house halfway to pick lil' one up.

One more dish one more dish ... and then it's time to clean up the kitchen.

What was I cooking?

Was getting ready to cook Japanese curry and noticed that I’ll have the other half leftover. First time I’m preparing Japanese curry from scratch and I’m so proud of myself.


I managed to get the 1 carrot from CS - Great World and 3 small potatoes from Meidiya last Thursday (27th) as I didn’t want any leftover ingredients. Only used 2 potatoes tho, not sure what I will do with another one but I’ll figure out somehow. Maybe make potato chips? If I can slice that thinly 😬.

Just nice I found a small pack (1 pax portion) of sukiyaki pork belly in the freezer as I was tidying the compartment. So decided to use both small portioned ingredients to fry this now. 
* I gave it to lil’ one’s next day lunch for school 


I think I may have poured too much sauce for this portion 🤭

I don’t deny the music just made me want to work harder and faster. I finished cooking quite fast, I didn’t break for any rest between cooking which I usually do coz I can’t tolerate the heat in the kitchen.

Coz I intended to give 2 dishes each kid, che-che will get a fried cod. I had to cut the fillet into smaller pieces so that it can fit into the thermos container. Only to be told when she got back that she’s working from home the next day. Sigh… told her then he heats up the food herself coz I will be out for 推拿 after I drop her off in school.
