Just don’t understand why some people can ask the silliest questions. Did they expect people to spoon feed them information? Find lah! If you can find the time to type into FB, you might as well look for answers yourself? It’s the type into search engine time, researching for travels in foreign countries has never been so easy.
Fish! Why the liner “anyone found a solution”? Can’t you just call your airline first? They must have dealt with this many times to advise you what to do. Or just find some other solutions yourself, unfortunately in situations like this there will be extra cost. We have no choice but to suck it up and swipe our card if need be. This is the reason why I usually buy a few more extra days of my SIM card for unforeseen delays. But I’m blessed 观音菩萨 has been watching me in all my travels
Excuse me! Know something called Google map? or rather if you’ve done your research well, you should know that Google map doesn’t work in Korea. You need to download Naver maps. Which means if one wants everything to chop chop fit nicely in their travel plans, they would have done all their research prior to leaving their country.
Afterall most people usually plan their holiday at least half a year before, more than enough time for you to do your research. Planning for holidays has never been so easy with the access to tons of information from the internet, from YouTube videos now.
I must talk about last time - last time I had to go to the library to borrow books to do my planning. If the guidebook has so little pictures, I can’t even visualise the place. At least now I can always do a street view on Google Map to recognise places, so easier for me to guide the family along.
Oh! Did I mention I always get so pissed when people keep asking where to get Suica card, where else to get the card etc..? No Suica card will die meh? Yes. I get it that it’s easier to travel with the card, one don’t need to queue to buy tickets all the time. But if all fails, then no choice hv to buy tickets everytime you take the train or bus lah! Are you going to stay in your hotel throughout your stay then? Or walk?
But this takes the cake. How the heck we know how much you’re going to travel?! If you know you won’t go to Japan that often to keep in your card or phone then don’t top up so much. It’s common sense right? Or if you want to save the hassle of topping up all the time, then clear the remaining amount in the conbinis or shops that accept Suica card for payment. We may travel to Japan more often coz of its proximity to us but still I only have ¥3815 in my card which is not a lot.
Check with your hotel! Make use of the free wifi to search for answers. Readers may not reply your questions that fast, I’m sure you’ll get your answers from the staffs there faster.
Ok, auntie finish gossiping liao. Time to end this blog entry 😂.
