She bugged che-che to buy her a present 2 months in advance. And she chose a loom set. (Huh? Hv the kit already..)
She slowly picked up looming. Put one rubber band, talk 5 sentences, loop one time, talk again, loop the other side, talk I-lost-count-number-of-sentences.
Finish one, show off and talk again. Haiz! At the rate she's going she talks more than she looms. My eyeballs just roll when she goes about doing that.
Her first loom after xxx minutes. Oops! My eyeballs dropped from eye socket liao!

Bumped into Che-Che's good friend's mom in the morning. Asked if her dau is looking forward to tmrw's NE Show. Her reply is "no, but it seems like she's looking forward to snacking there." Haha! My girl also made me buy snacks, looks like a few of them are buying to share. Hmm.... Things they'll do together.

Opera slice cake class on 25th July. Time away from the kids.
Chef dismantling my cake, which was a little hard coz' my one is very tall (if only I'm tall too!). Packed and ... can't wait to show it to the kids. Just nice, today's 25th - can celebrate che-che turning 7 yrs 8 mths ( we haven't done this for quite some time already).

Hahaha! Actually I'm still not that good in coating buttercream.
My cake tak balance - got white got brown. Haha!
Apparently the cake was slanted during the transportation home. Sigh…... otherwise the cake is shiok-li-cious!!
(greedy lor! put so much ganache until can slip - hahaha! Actually put on carseat so slanted lah!)

Another thing to pack in luggage next time
Other people always have their luggage filled with souvenirs for their ah gong, ah ma, aunties and uncles, I tend to have a whole load of rubbish inside. I always collect ticket stubs, stamps and brochures (some are available online but I don’t spend time checking when I’m there) when travelling. And scan them in when I return and throw the hard copy away. That’s me trying to digitalise everything, so I can put them in the photobooks 😬 too.
After the recent trip, I was telling che-che that I should have a hard case in the luggage bag and in the hand carry/sightseeing bag next time. This will prevent our small papers getting crumpled.
白发的挣扎
A problem that comes with age - white hair.
Argh! Actually not in my case, think there’s a genetic failure somewhere that I had white hair when I was a teenager (che-che has the same genetic failure too ☹️)
In recent years, I realised my hair grow out so quickly that the whites are visible 2 weeks after I’ve coloured my hair. 2 weeks! No joke! I can’t be making countless trips to hair salon everytime too as it’ll cost a lot of money.
Apart from the ah-pek hair dye which I use every few months. I’ve resorted to other temporary measures. Namely from :
1) hair darkening shampoo (Bawang)
2) to temporary pens. But can usually only remedy the visible front hairline spots. Initially the first usage was so promising. The next time I used, my “touched up” hair turned alien green 👽. Muahaha! Not really sure what happened?
3) Recently I came across this and decided to try this. It is easier to apply than the Hidaka’s haircolour brush. I won’t end up having blots of black ink on my scalp with this mascara-like.
I don’t think I’ll use this that regularly too. I’m not the hardworking must 打扮美美 person, but when I do want to make myself a little happier by not seeing the white hair this comes to the rescue.

can't even eat anything from the indian stations' hotels at all. So many times I have to drop by the airport clinic upon arrival or clinic near home on my off day, usually too sick that doc wants to give me MC but I decline (yah, even tho I may have a horrible rostered flight coming up I won't get the MC)
So I always end up bringing 2 huge bottles of water for drinking and another for washing my hands and contact lens container. And bring a loaf of bread with me. I'll either spread Nutella from home or bring the choc chip bread. Thank goodness, it's usually a nightstop only. If it's longer nightstops, I will eat so much bread looking like しょくぱんまん
EX- station I'll never eat any meals catered onboard, l'll usually eat biscuits not even instant noodles!
Drinks on board, I'll go for the canned drinks brought up EX-SIN.
Maybe coz my stomach is really sensitive. I started doing that in my first going to second year of flying when I noticed the bouts of food poisoning from outside food n hotel food.

Hv to go n pack dinner n buy some stuffs; later @ 5.55pm go back to pick che-che; go over to another venue of Berries (two diff places for primary kids n the toddlers program) to wait mei-mei; do school homework in car; 6.45pm pick mei-mei; reach home 7+; shower;dinner and more screamings from me. And...
..I didn't hv time to clean the floor today!!!
Please lah! No more exams on Sundays can or not?

I'm amazed. Told girls that l'I let them nap for an hr, they get up at 5pm n start doing work. Mei-mei got up b4 5pm herself n came to bug a tired me. I told her "sleep till 5.30pm." she woke up and then she automatically sat down n did her work. Che-Che? Still snoring.. N difficult to wake her up.
