Haircut

With a heavy heart and a heavy head, I desperately needed a haircut to lighten the load off me. 

Can’t remember when was the last time I went for a haircut at TS It was probably Z who cut my hair for me. Was it a year ago? 6 or 8 months ago? Anyway was too lazy to go all the way to PP and since I needed to be in Simei after dropping her off in school, thought I’ll just get it done there.

Johnathan from Simply Hair Studio (@ Eastpoint Mall) cut my tresses. Wash and cut for $48. It’ll usually cost more in TS. And tho he also did highlight to me that my hair will curl here and there, he cut shorter than what TS would normally do. 

I would always tell the stylist at TS but they often cite the stubborn curls reason and I find only a few inches of hair on the floor 😟. I paid so much I expected more lor! 

As usual, always asked if I wanted to do treatment or hair colour. “You do at home you spoil your hair”. But I really don’t care coz ah-nia don’t have so much time and money to keep going to hair salon to touch up every 2 weeks. Not like they will charge me cheaper for just that 1cm of white hair touch up. I might as well do it at home and then I can continue to do whatever housework while waiting for the 15-20mins is up. 

Will I go back to this hair salon? I really don’t know. Lil’ one commented that the cut is not bad. Aiyah! I always look good when I walk out of a hair salon with hair styled. How often so I style my hair? I normally just tie up my hair and run out of the house, I only style it when there’s occasion for me to take more effort in dressing up. 

Now my head feels lighter. I hope and pray that tomorrow brings a happier day with happier news. 🙏
