Continuing our hike unprepared
When I pack our snow grips, we never get to use it.
When I don't pack our snow grips, we need it 🧐 . Prior to trip, I took out but checked weather and says no snow. BUT there was a sudden snowstorm last week.
Noticed the rest of the walk is icy so we stopped.
Icy trail I heard from the ranger up there so not sure if anyone went.
Second hike
All excited

After I took this pic I noticed the family waiting for me at the corner
and they told me it's too slippery ahead. They stood there looking and many people fell at that spot. So we stood there to see how many more other people fall.
Walk on the inner side (left side where a guy fell) - it's slippery. Walk on the outer side - it's also slippery n icy but nobody fell. The only thing is one wrong move may lead one to tumble down the slope which can be dangerous.
So we turned back again.
A good excuse to be back here again, not in winter tho.
I couldn't help but look at those people coming up - their shoes - I think they will turn back. Not many are prepared for this condition
Girls still cheery tho we had 2 failed hikes today.
Safety comes first.

Athena Ting and I ventured the whole place and even saw on a corner a place for their orchestra. Why didn't we climb up the stairs to look inside? And she did her research before and could even tell me the conductor is a Singaporean.
Where was Aricia Ting? Apparently that lazy girl stayed with daddy at one spot. She missed out so much, then again she didn't and wasn't interested in history.

The room as what che-che remembers. She remembers she keeps playing with the toilet door and then she burst out laughing. Mei-mei's "stage".
The two of them used to put up short performances for us.
Che-che brought her bath bombs just for this.

Such a pity she had WBAS slapped right in the middle of the month. We couldn't go where they had wanted to go this year as we would have needed more than 2 weeks of travelling and we would have gone to LV Strip, even more happening.
So how next year? She seems keen to go WBAS now.

Actually kindda missed this. The time we spent with daddy in SHA, while he works we do our own things. Most times I end up staying inside, too cold and I needed girls to revise some work. Helps that we are located at main shopping area, macam like living in Orchard Road. There's Isetan next to us, and the foodcourt serves Japanese food. We meet daddy for dinners where we'll train down or walk or sometimes he meets us somewhere.Those are highly treasured time. Yah, the time when I use my kantang chinese to scold people when they push my kid Aricia Ting. Muahaha! As if they bother....
So thinking .....if we had all followed along the girls would be studying in International school there. I'd be lonesome coz no friends until I make new friends, then my life really revolves just cooking and picking them up from school. Hate to cook also no choice but to cook all meals. But maybe Athena Ting 's chinese will be 👍
A phonecall from hubby this morning.... The kids talking happily to him.
Mei-Mei: So ru going to work now daddy?
Daddy: I'm going to sleep now. It's already 9plus at night.
Mei-Mei: (stunned look and looks outside our window)???? But daddy I just woke up and you are going to sleep?

I play favourite with my girls. Lil' one I favour her coz she's independent when it comes to studying, I didn't have to nudge her. Che-che I favour her coz she's obedient, she's a sister at 3+yrs-old, at the age where she's still a child. At a young age she has to learn to share or give in to her sister. When hubby scolds her for not giving lil' one things; I sided with che-che. I didn't want to make that lil' one a spoilt brat. But yah....she's still one sensible girl I ❤️
