I had these little bits of information on my phone calendar sometimes as things happen, so now as I'm going thru them and trying to document into my blog I'm picking out the funny things che-che says.

Once when she was driving and there was an accident opposite. I commented "you see...."

She came with the reply "I'm driving, I cannot see." I replied her with a "you hear..."

(she was giggling away while I tried to maintain a serious look on my face when I said that)

she: "He had the mic on throughout the tram.

Confirmed I cannot be a tram driver coz l'll be scolding people the whole ride."

[😂 I think it's the same for me. I'd get booted out the very next day I start work.]

Did these last evening so can pass them to mom today. Added sugar for this batch so not sure if it's too sweet or not. Too sweet not my fault tho I put lesser

Tried to "thin out" the coconut for this second batch coz I felt it was too thick the first batch.... but oopsy now's too little 🤭

One whole mango for just these 4.

Mom's recipe yields about 800ml of water for one mango, this recipe only 250ml so I think my mango texture is thicker? #soheaty#

Not sure what to do with the extra coconut agar agar so just pour some into the Sumikko mold.

*Minor Crisis*

Wasn't sure how clean my clothes are coz I only noticed the drum not rolling when it was at the last stage so I decided to pop by the 24hrs laundry 400m

from me.

I was trying to pry open the detergent cover but nope it doesn't work here. $5 for this wash. And let's see how many rounds I need to put in the dryer later on.

Useless washing machine! My previous one in Panggol house lasted me the whole time I was there & slightly longer, current one since the time we moved here.

Sigh….now that we’ve renovated and done whatever I wanted in the laundry room, we have another problem. 

Just 2 wks ago the metal stand gave way and WM is tilted to the front 😱. 

Plank is movable, but how much strength do we have between the 2 of us to lift up the machine and bring out the stand? Sigh…

Children's Day in school

Prepared some gifts for the girls in her class.

She volunteered to bring chicken sausage for their class party. Did a check before packing n realised it's not halal.

Luckily, this unhealthy family has some unhealthy ready-to-cook snacks at home. A check was done to verify it's halal. Left with one pack each so ...anyway I heard they had alot of food so this is sufficient.

She lugged heavy bags to school. Was grouching that she might not be able to climb up the stairs etc...and I was already so nervous this morning as there was a jam in KPE due to an accident so asked her to stop complaining.

In the end, had to drop che off first as she has exams today. Lil' one - not so important...but still got booked by prefects!!

Amongst all the Children's Day gifts, this set stands out. Lil' one got a special instruction from a teacher (not teaching her this year) to go over staff room after concert.

Not the norm gift, and she said it's for both girls. She didn't forget che-che. So sweet of her..... I guess in her eyes che-che is still a child. Heehee!

No pics during class. I came back 45 mins later to see my messy girl. She was more interested in licking the batter. Think che-che did most of the job.

Girlfriend sent this over. Their last concert. She was so so lucky to get tickets to their concert coz in Japan it's by lottery system, one can try all the dates but get none at all. She only chose one location and she got it! Extremely lucky!

Che-che was superbly envious of Aunty Mio. I told Mio she can adopt my child and let her go with her to the concert .

3rd day of eating snake. I took 3 days annual leave leaving the man to help vacumn the house n then start his busy work. I barely did anything more in the house. There r times when you just want to give up and relax and ...then I start to worry / feel guilty abt the houseworks piled up. Like so crazy right? This is the feeling when one has no domestic helper? Or is it just me?

Went to wi W again, I thought it would be the last chance. I must have mistakenly read that it ends on 4th Nov, now I realised it's 14th. I thought since school term ends this week for lil' one n next week when che-che resumes f2f lectures my route would be different n I'll not come by this area at all. Then late at night we received news that all lectures will be on zoom for the remaining semester. This is good news, meaning no need to chauffeur anyone. is

After , went down to Funan to get my filter lens replaced. It's jammed, so the guy directed me to someone who has the equipment to remove the lens.

Sigh….. And was disappointed when I found out he only opens at 1pm. I didn't have time to go down today as lil' one ended school at 12pm and I had already packed their lunch for them. I needed to be home asap too coz lil' one has online CCA, che-che has her lectures. A wasted trip for me.

Which means I have to make a trip down deliberately one day to get this removed n changed. I know it's easy for me since I have the car, but I'm just so lazy to leave the house.

For the first time che-che said that the one in Shanghai tastes better than here. She's always complaining about food not nice there etc..

Today my lil' one told us she went to the school chapel to say Hail Mary 10x. (We had a good laugh...y was she there?) So I asked her did she hold on to rosary. Her answer "no mummy. But u must buy me the card!!"

The funniest incident that happened quite some time back during school mass. Priest said "u can sit or kneel". My lil' one went to kneel. (4) Hahahaha! We burst out laughing (y and then she said "but he said we can sit or kneel. I can choose what!"

I've reminded her time n time n again to pls remain seated during communion. I hope she did.

The girls asked me "aunty, when is Aricia celebrating her birthday? On which day?" I said "not yet".

During school time, they told Chayanne from another class that she wasn't invited. I feel like I'm being played out by my girl.

She forgot to bring her "cards" and she told me today she asked her classmates "who wants to come to my birthday party"? The kids obediently put up their hands. ROFL!!

Oh my! If she continues this, the lil kids will tell their mummies/daddies abt the invitation for 2 years later.

Wah seh! Ah lao says like that no choice must give her birthday party right? Thing is... It's Che-Che's

crucial year. Moreover 七岁都还没过、讲到八岁
