This is what I went out with.
Arm sleeve, umbrella, sunglasses, fan. Hang until my neck pain, lucky thing | left my neck fan back home if not l'd be weighed down.
When we sat down for lunch, che-che settled and drank her water so quickly while I was still removing all artillery on me 🤣
She sat down, gulped down a cold drink and flipped the menu.
I sat down, remove neck fan + handphone sling, remove sunglasses, remove arm sleeves, wipe face n flip menu same time. Staff come by and I'm still not ready to order. By the time I pour/drink my first drink che-che would have drank her third 😂. While waiting for food I fold my umbrella nicely.

My kindergarten in Siglap. Monkey is long gone, actually I don't know why and how it was possible to cage up a monkey in the 1980s. I'd mimick the monkey's chatter everyday as I ran down and up my ah-chek bus.

The windows where my mom stood looking at me.
When I turn to look at her, she kept actioning at me to use my right hand. I switch to right hand, when she's not looking then back to left hand. Anytime I happen to look at her she keeps asking me to switch to right hand. Left, right, left, right - my work was untidy lor..😂
But there you go, eventually she realised cannot change me. So I'm the only left hander (which I found out later that I can use my right hand to write as well) in the family. The most intelligent person in the family 🤣🤣, the most logical person in the family
until I became a mother. 🤭
And the poor one-gold-tooth ah-chek. He would shelter us with his laquer umbrella with a hole on his side. And he had to endure kids making noise and fighting in his small bus

Racial Harmony Day on 21st July....
Shall I stick to baju kurung or easiest way is to pop by the peranakan shop near her school for sarong kebaya?
She's screaming "No! no! No costume." I'm going to force her. How long more can bribery work on 11yr-old kids??
Brought her out for tea break but she Zzzzz. Hubby can't carry her so will deal with a whiny kid later.
