Oh no! Ms Thermie is sick!

5th July (Sunday)

Nightmare! 4 years later! (Received Ms Thermie on 4/8/22). Was going to do a pre-cleaning when the problem arose. Ended up I had to manually unassembled the parts and washed them.

After doing whatever I need to do and didn't resolve problem, I reached out to my advisor.

Could be the lid sensor, but coz it's still in perfect condition exterior so maybe there's internal injury?

Nevertheless I'm grateful that Doreen was so fast in replying me on a weekend.

Aiyoh! I had plans to make lil' one's pasta sauce this coming week. Now 抛弃 idea. Opportunity to eat snake 🤭

She called me to explain to me how repairs is done. She also asked me why I haven’t made use of the recent promo and upgrade to TM7. I don’t cook daily thus Ms Thermie is not a fully overworked machine to make it worthwhile to upgrade. In order to upgrade, TM6 has a trade-in value of $800, which means I still need to fork out $2180 for TM7. 对我来说to pay $2K for a new machine when mine still looks so pristine (cleaned after every use, the blue sticker is still stuck on the handles) after 4 years is just totally not worth. Maybe years down the road after many rough handling maybe I can buy a newer machine? Nonetheless Thermomix is a good machine, I don’t regret my purchase

Will probably update this next time when everything is settled.
