Tho this can never beat the record of my first adenium plant which was flower-less for a year right?

The only happy thing I can look forward to.

My 🌻 s? Failed attempt for the dunno how many times. I need ☀️ , strong ☀️ !! Maybe I should just go to the nursery and buy the sunflower plants.

Honestly I don't sympathise with these people who brings in food into Australia without declaring. So I'm thinking why Subway needs to reimburse the lady?

Just for PR sake?

Not sure about now, but I remembered there are constant reminders in the airport if you have any food, fruits in your bag, if yes please discard it or something to that extent. All the way from the gate to the immigration counters, still not enough warning?

Signages in Oz stations, NZ and a few other places.

That's why I never dare bring in any food into Australia.

Yesterday lil' one saw me with a cotton bud and asked me why am I cleaning the plants. 🤣

Ah girl ah....your mummy is doing some RA act to the plants lah! I'm not so siao to clean my plants right?

Let's hope this works. This is the 3rd and last pod that only has flowers. The other 2 pods mati at the leafy stage. I wish I can have small little tommies, just like the ones we came home to in Jan

Was searching up on how to repel crawlies on plants.

This is what I found :

"Aphids: Cedarwood, hyssop, peppermint, spearmint, orange, cedarwood"

The funniest thing is I found small aphids on my mint plant.

This was taken on 30th July. I decided to grab my SLR and tried all sorts of dunno what things to get this, instead of the blobs I normally get. I still couldn't get the clouds in which were visible to naked eyes.

I'm happy with the outcome of the pics tho!

This evening, I was hoping to catch the blue moon but alas wrong timing. Ah mat was chauffeuring and I kept looking in the sky but saw nothing, maybe it was above the car? Or behind? Next one in May 2019, by then mei-mei would be in Sec1. Maybe I'll be more free to sit and wait?

Anyway in order to look for that full moon, I looked in the same direction (which is next to the gym.

Residents exercising must be thinking I'm taking pics of them) today, it was not in my favour. However when we left home at 9.10ish it was so clear but we had to rush to airport. I thought I could get a pic today after we got back home, but clouds just blocked it. Sigh….....

This cute おばあさんwaved to us from a corner of the temple premises and I felt so obliged to go to her coz ....rude to ignore her when I waved back to her. Felt like she was beckoning to us in Hansel and Gretal, only thing she isn't a witch 😂.  Think she's in her late

80s or early 90s and still so alert.

She offered us a tea and then I felt paiseh so bought a pack. She asked us where we were from, which we understood her question but answered back in halting Japanese. Then she asked us how do we say Thank You in our language. At least her question sounds more sensible than the American guy in US whom we had conversation prior in english, asked how do we "say thank you in wherever you're from" 😅

I don't mean to be a bitch but I did pause and replied him, "Thank You."

Athena Ting asked me before how long it'll take to walk from one end to another of Central Park. Gave her an estimate (based on my walking speed last time) coz I never walked all the way to the end, she can find it out herself next time.

Maybe with her longer legs she'll walk much faster than I did and also coz I like to #tHia] take pictures last time K.

I do rmbr well tho I went out with a CSS,Christine, to meet her friend, who has an apartment facing Central Park. Lovely view of the park from his house. Told myself I'd love to own an apartment there one day.

And it was that same flight where she n I fell asleep in the front row while watching The Scarlet Pimpernel (to the Broadway cast, I'm terribly sorry) as we were both jet-lagged.

Where was I when I was in Sec 1 after school? Home!

I was so guai to bus home everyday even tho' I was a latchkey child.

Now I see Sec 1 boys n girls hanging in Macs.

Nothing to 大惊小怪 if u see the "blue girls" sitting amongst the "termites". But they're Sec 1 leh! In my time, you'd only see girls 'buoh-ing n giggling at boys' in Sec 3.

Oh my oh my! Kids mature really fast now.

Makes me fear if my girl will be like that. I need a ROPE!!! Hahaha!

The girls asked me "so what is tchr P going to teach us today? Grade 2 and 4 pieces?"

I don't think so n don't believe in only practicing exam pieces. She'll let them play other books first for sure.

Apparently she only wants to teach them just to pass their exams 😓. So when they were in the higher grades, the girls lost interest in piano. When che-che was in Sec 4, I continued her lessons coz lil’ one was still having her lessons. I didn’t want her to lose the momentum if we had stopped the lessons for more than half year. I asked tchr P to just teach her from other music books we have at home, so it can also be a form of relaxation in her tense O’level year. Her reply was “no, that one she can play herself” 🙄. For that year, they both received scoldings all the time from her coz made mistakes in playing. Of course lah! School was so busy, no time to practice at all.

Lil' one would often tell us abt this classmate of hers who would tell her she's doing P3 to P6 work. I don't believe her and said "I don't think so. How can she do P6 work?" Must be a girl boasting right?

I thought I was evil enough to suggest "I photocopy Che-Che's work for her to do." But then my Che-Che said "so hard u sure she can do? I photocopy P5 for …... No! I photocopy my Maths Olympiad for her to do. See she can do or not!"

Hmm…got evil mother sure got evil daughter. Haha!

Today's 7th day, supposedly FIL will be back. Or was it early this morning?

I thought can talk to him. Mom say must keep quiet; cannot turn on light - will be frightened. But my girls super noisy now as we just got back home. Hubby not in SIN, so cant see him for the last time?? Wah lau eh...ask the girls to keep quiet, they more noisy then Aricia kept asking "why? Why? Why?" Father, ur welcome to come back.

Simple dinner for the girls.

Curry without anything inside. Yup! That fussy.

Lil' one's will be served later without curry coz she don't like curry and she don't like pork but I don't care, I need

to finish the pork loin. 一个要鸡肉、一个要猪肉=真麻烦

Which means I had to portion out their curry and continue cooking my eggplant in the pot.

My curry is more than my rice 🤣, I'm full from eating the onion, carrot, potato and eggplant.

My meal served from pot coz I didn't want to wash any more crockeries.

I begin the start of the week, although every day of the week is the same to me, with music amplified in house. I like to have music when I'm cleaning the house but a lot of times inhibited with the family either needing to WFH or HBL.

My work is at home 😩 so I need to AWFH (always work from home)

All over and done with. Yay!

Except for fever that lil' one and I had for the last 💉, and tiredness we all experienced the next day, we are all well. No arm sore except only on the day of jab itself.

Some time back, che che said a classmate brought melted marshmallow with Pebbles and shared with the class. That it's nice and asked me to do it one day.

I misinterpreted the whole thing n mine looked like this. She saw, slapped her forehead n smiled. It's nothing like what her friend did.

Hee! It's ok, I'm only going to do 6. And she gotta eat it for breakfast whether she likes it or not!
