Went to pick Che-che up from her 🎻 lesson and security guard lady asked me "are you private or Grab?" "I'm the Grab driver for my daughter", and gave that 😏 look. She burst out laughing after that.
Guess I shouldn’t be complaining esp there will be a day when I have an empty nest.

Lil' one took her HPV vaccination in school yesterday (Wed). Nurse called me and doc spoke to me. She complained of giddiness n blood pressure went up, she didn't hv appetite during recess too, they let her rest a while. I wanted to bring her home early but she didn't want to miss anything in school / worry extra homeworks.
Took temp and started monitoring her. My delicate weakling 🤪 has fever. She showered, drank chinese herbal drink 💤
Left house to pick che-che. Came back n took temp, low grade fever, cooked porridge for her. She can argue with me so it means she fine.
Took temp again. Fever seemed to go down and interval between herbal drink - should be able to give her angmoh medicine - but still low-grade fever.
Goash! I junked the bottled Panadol but ....I keep forgetting she's no longer a "child" so cut the 500mg tablet into half. Not sure of dosage for her weight so l think it's better to under-dosage than to over-dosage. Sleeping with her tonight so can monitor temp. I hope I don't jump up too quickly from her pull-out bed and hit my head on the table drawer 🤕 Fever is a common side effect with HPV vaccine but with her history I don't take any chances when it comes to fever.
I'm very impressed with the doc, l asked her for a favour to write down the symptoms for me just incase she didn't get well and I need to send her to PD or hospital, I can show it to the next doc. Very clear and intensive letter 👍. Will need to write a commendation letter.

Thanks for all words of concerns and prayers.
Now I'm at KKH with lil' one, apparently she kiasu and went back to see the doc (doc said was up to her if she wanted to see her the next day) in school this morning. And doc told her her heart is still beating really fast n she should see the doc to get it checked.
She only told me about it when I picked her up from school. They spoke to PE tchr n she didn't do anything strenuous today, even yesterday. Thank the lucky stars her kiasuism helped her, otherwise we wouldn't have known that she still has the signs of heart palpitating ( coz she said she don't feel anything).
We were ushered into observation so fast after the triage. Did ECG n will run a blood test on her and another senior doc will see her before they decide what to do.
Meanwhile, this girl is still worried that she cannot do her English presentation 🤦🏻♀️ tmrw.

Her comments for the blood test "of all fingers!" And she's bugging me that she wants to go school tmrw. Oh my goodness! I feel like knocking her unconscious to stop her from complaining to me.
Sigh.....stuck in Popular again. Buying yet another book?!?!
She's done with the book she bought this week. Left with less than half of the book she just borrowed from library today and ..... sigh...
Then I have two girls on different ends of a stick. One begs for book; the other one I have to beg her to read one book.

Hate coming to PP on weekends. Here today for lil' one's makeup class. Note to self, I better learn my lesson n nvr ever ever EVER re-arrange. Just forgo the class can already.
2 hrs here n I'm just going to stay put. My time to FB n relax for now, will be busy with them later at home.

Hahaha! I think that's what happened to me. I was uttering and uttering when I woke up from GA and look at a big Athena. Asked " I thought I came here to deliver a baby (I was referring to Aricia), why is my baby Athena so big now?"
And I was trying to make sure I was aware of what's happening. I saw my SILs and said "you're Jasline Ting, you're wearing xxx. You're Aveling, you're wearing xxx." They were laughing at me. I'm trying to make sure I wasn't going mad. And I heard the nurses commenting "baby small, formula formula." I had to raise my voice "syringe. Syringe syringe no bottle. 11 2 breastfeed." That's my melodrama coming out of GA.

Che-che's kitty phone is spoilt! Can't charge. Though it's cheap but it's super cute leh. She's eyeing on iPhone- yah! U think we're going to buy for her?

First time the girls saw a banana plant

Today is a bit different. The stall reopens after a three-day break following Saturday's incident on the 15th. We did not plan this specific day on purpose. My little one usually joins me for class, and we grab lunch outside afterward.
As usual I would drop her/the girls off first while I park the car. The coffeeshop gets crowded granted that it’s usually lunch time by the time we reach there. Lil’ one scored a table next to the stall, the same table as last week 😂. When I came by, I was shocked by the huge crowd. When I made my way to the table, I saw a microphone with a “MediaCorp” label on it on another table. Ahh….makes sense for them to come for some news coverage. I found the humour and sent a message to my Fight-Do kakis that I think I will be on TV and needs to put on make up now n wished I didn’t go for the class earlier on (messy lah!) 🤣.
I didn't forget the dough but I had to do housework first. That is the problem I face whenever I wanted to bake bread, always have 1001 other things | to do. By the time I wanted to bake, it was close to prepping dinner. Baked a few to try out this new recipe in between cooking dinner.
Something is wrong with my weighing machine that I winged it and anyhow pull out any amount I wanted.
Obviously I didn't use my brain when I did the butter. 😂
Coz it melted n dirtied the whole tray 🤣. Maybe nextround I should put in a muffin tray.

Both not bad but my opinion don't matter. It's the two fussy girls' opinions that matters.
I left 4 for them and che-che finished all the butter bread, she left only 1 choc chip for lil' one. I didn't tell her that is with butter topping but she knew.

Still in the music-y Miss Saigon tunes this morning so I started counting the number of musicals I've watched so far. 23. Not that many actually, can be more. Musicals like Les Miserables, Phantom and Miss Saigon watched it at least 2-3x
There are just so many musicals now, but I still prefer the old old classics. Let me finish all the classics before I go into the new ones. Any classic musical I've missed out?
Every musical is just so nice in their own way. Fast beat, slow beat, jazz, raising flags, giraffes walking in, jumping around too much, the sexy ladies with gueh-mo, scary cats with that thick make up that just come up behind you.
I laughed, I cried, I sing sang sung to the lyrics.
Then there's the "I totally had no idea what the musical was about even until now 😂.
All musicals stand out in their way but i believed I've said this before about one that stood out, the one that still left me in high adoration - Chang and Eng. No offence to my music friends here but I mean... I went to Broadway and West-end so I had that expectation. And I wasn't expecting much of a Singaporean production but oh I was so so wrong. [lt's just like watching football matches and you see them score goals so fast, watch in Singapore they run and run but score only 1 goal.]
Imagine if I hadn't made the choice to watch Chang & Eng I would have missed out so much. I still have the CDs but for the tunes I can't find any scores so have to play by hearing. If you hear me, bring back Chang & Eng.

This is one I would love to watch but they're no longer in Broadway. 😭 The songs are so comically nice. Mel Brooks what do you expect. Coz I can't watch the musical, I watched the movie instead.

Few days ago, lil’ one commented this year end would be the boring-est holiday ever! And what can she do for that “so many weeks” school hols.
She was so looking forward to her Disneyland and the many stargazing 🔭 opportunities in NPs. (I also will miss the 🔭, last year it was cloudy where we went so I lugged the lenses n tripod there for nothing. Che-che would also miss going to her playground - Griffith - 3rd time in 4yrs if we could be there this yr)
So I suggested that I could get her a tent and let her sleep in our PES, since there are 🌲 🌳 and the “waterfall”, we hv that nature feel 🦟 🐜 🐀 here. Or we can go for many trails in Singapore, I didn’t even manage to complete the one in Sentosa myself so we can go and there are so many more to go around in Singapore.
And yet she continued sulking. Look girl, you’re not the only one sulking.

ENTRY 1 :
One day I was scolding the two girls n threatened I'd buy them a cane each. "purple cane for you (looking at Che-che) and pink one for you (looking at lil' one)." turned to look at Che-Che n continued scolding. I heard a voice "but I don't like pink colour. I also like purple colour." and that innocent pouty girl looked at me.
Wah...how to get angry?!
ENTRY 2 :
As u all know lil' one likes to talk, n her speech is clear. One day she suddenly speaking in tongues n sobbing. We all rushed out to see her ....a fly crawled on her leg for quite some time and she was so scared n nobody around her at that time at that time.
I know it's bad but we really laugh at her.
ENTRY 3 :
This is how self-motivated lil' one is. It's vy late alr n we just got back home, still she had to grab a book to do while sitting on the throne. Wah...臭臭！
Tell her to stop doing work, she still continue.
