The mind is just tuned to certain music as I work on the laptop.
Classical or jazz doesn't help me now, only Christmas 🎄 music. For many days I've had my jazz n classical but i kept getting so distracted and kept changing music. Today I decided to change my music and I'm so proud of myself. I don't get distracted easily and feel so productive planning itinery with Christmas songs.
I guess it's what I've been doing for many years as I plan our itineraries. It's amazing how the mind works!

That was fast! Second round of sweets. Lucky we have lots of sweets at home + willing girls to share 😅
Just as I was pouring out the sweets, two little boys came by.
I gave up lighting the pumpkins. Kept extinguishing

Treats in bags coz my unit is exposed to all weather elements. And also I down to keep unlocking gate for neighbours (I'll be so busy) for them to get treats from main door. Anyway, they'll walk past my unit so might as well put them outside.

With no decoration tho! Lazy to bring out pumpkins.
But cannot forget my two fav boys.
Then I realised some neighbours actually left some treats outside their unit. I wanted to follow suit but lazy to re-pack the sweets in cellophane bags as my unit is exposed to the weather elements and then it means I had to really bring out my pumpkins etc..to make that small small Halloween feel.
Hope I won't be lazy next year.

After my workout, went to pick che-che who ended school early. Yay!
It's makan time. Didn't burn any calories today, I topped it up instead. Sigh....
Weather like so shiok, so cloudy at this time. Ate my sinful pasta…..now I feel like doing a gai-gai since the girls are half-attired and I'm still in my smelly gym wear.

- No dip in the pool, I had to help with her slime!
- No bake coz I had to help her with her slime!
- Forget about the pathetic plants, one more day won't make any difference, the rain helped me take care of them today.
- Housekeeping laptop ...more likely have to finish some typing tonight.
- Fridge -? One more day won't kill right? Or maybe it's two days or three weeks?
All I managed to do was to get rid of some P5 stuffs, brought out che-che's 4 boxes of P6 "worldly intangible treasures". And then realised maybe lil' one won't have time to read also. Got rid of them. 4 years diff, even the oral books cannot be used. Still struggling to fit whatever I can from P4 onwards in that small bookshelf. Sigh...
.. This is only part 1, coz I haven't slot back her current P5 science notes back into the magazine box.
Still have some P5 school stuffs to clear. That one wait till last week of school?
Need to tidy her table!!! I left some binded stacks of EL stuffs for her to read on her table before I clear.
Why are the houses so small now?!?!
I need a bigger bookshelf! Currently, only the packed ones are stacked vertically. The rests is still work in progress. Some stuffs for tutor to check if she needs before I junk. When will I see a neater bookshelf?
All I know is I really need an extra pair of hands to help me out.

Told ya I'm forced to make slime instead of doing what I want to do.
I bake once in a while, I can cook food fit for my kids (force it down their throat kind) but I can't make slime. ?!?!?!
1st recipe : Lil' one got one that uses glue and washing detergent. She happily took Downy (I told her yesterday that is not detergent she refused to listen to me). Then I decided to view the video she was watching n told her the girl used PVA glue while she used clear glue. I tried to rescue it by using dish detergent n baking soda. It got thicker progressively.
And when I dip my finger in it, cooling sensation.
FAIL! But if you want to learn to make fake snow, this failed recipe of mine will help you. 😉
2nd recipe : I saw one that asks for hand soap + cornstarch. I used castile soap. Quite nice but .... messy. FAIL!
3rd recipe : Lil' one kept saying she'll get the easiest recipe. One ingredient - washing detergent n then freeze it. It looks so easy... I can't be that dumb right?
But I thought of our heat and maybe might not work?
So 55mins later, I helped her stir. I did the same, theirs turn out nice. Mine turn out like muah chee.
OMG! 😲 somebody shoot me!! Anyway I told her to chuck it back to the freezer. It's been some time, and she's totally forgotten about it? She's gone out to pack dinner with daddy. Then how? Detergent ice-cream?

Footnote written in 2021 : That was fun. Getting to know some neighbours as we had moved in that year.
Organised for the kids, but I didn't follow them or any groups around so didn't have many pics except the ones that bro helped me take.
Wasn't easy planning on how the kids should move in groups but I'm glad managed to pull everything off.

A trip back to the school.

Will my girls continue to wear the blue uniform throughout their first 10 years of their education years? I dunno.
The school holds many wonderful memories (tho I must say I was a goody nerdy girl). I'm proud to be an IJ girl and no doubt be part of that "havoc girls in the east". Hey! I turned out alright!!!
Realized I should have tried my luck getting back year books, I'm sure they'll have it somewhere. If I wasn't in a rush, I would have waited longer and hopefully find n talk to our beloved FT. (She was somewhere packing. Called her line to her table..no way to leave message.)
Can't believe this huh?
Still hv school homework to do before trick treating.

This year, thankfully, Halloween is a day after che-che's last exam paper. So we need not rush through trick-treating.
At home, preparing to go out.
My Mad Hatter and Alice in Wonderland. Wanted to print a playingcard and hang it around my neck. Didn't have time to do that so took Athena's devil cape from 2-3yrs ago. In the end, didn't use it also.

Nice thing about Halloween is that you might bump into the same family (of same character) in the streets. And then they will whip out their cameras to take pictures.
This is formed by 2 different families. I didn't manage to spot any Alice In Wonderland characters
