There was some uncertainty whether I could make it for this trip. It didn’t matter if I couldn’t as it’s a repeated trip.
(a) When bro asked me if I can help to send mom for admission for surgery, I explained that I had to see when the h set the appt dates for h. If there’s nothing on, then I’ll send her. I totally forgot about this Ghibli trip and this is secondary importance.
(b) After receiving some bad news last week, I didn’t have any mood to go for it and asked S if she wanted my ticket instead. I also didn’t have to send mom to be warded for her surgery as she was already in the hospital early this month.
The appointments they set didn’t clash with the date. Maybe it’s planned this way for me? With a double confirmation that I’m free, I went ahead and take my mind off things/worries.
Che-che said go once is enough, who goes two times? HER MOTHER LOR! At that time I wasn’t sure how packed it will be on a weekend, plus we do have some self-entitled people who may block your view or take a super long time posing - hands up; hands down; look up; look down; look at camera; turn back.
Coz lil’ one only start school at 1pm, initially I asked if she wanted to come with me then I’ll get her a ticket at the normal price. All SOLD OUT! Hubby offered to send her to settle her lunch outside before school.
My ticket is for 10am but I was late! I couldn’t park in MBS so parked at Suntec and trained down. Reached ArtScience Museum at 10.46am. Oops!
Left at 11.55am This may be my second trip and I’m still able to take 305 pictures. Haha!
Drove at 1220 - 1239 : reached ROXY
Had uncle wanton. Craving for something sweet really. I wanted Angelina cakes but I think I feel so kiam-siap now, I’m not willing to spend money on something so expensive + GST + svc charge.
Packed my laksa dinner and left at 1345hrs then went to library. Reached OTH at 1410hrs
Last Thursday after exercise, I didn’t have to drop by mom’s I didn’t have to pass food to lil’ one so I had the time to do my own things. I went to the library, had my AirPodwith me then. It was nice to shut off from the world and immerse myself in the book, until I get teary.
Today I forgot to bring earpiece today. Argh!
Look for steam food ideas, look for books for C . Just didn’t want to go home. I also have iMovie to do either at home or outside but …. I just needed to be out. Be out today since I’m already out and tomorrow I will stay at home.
The aircon is nice here, it’s free but parking in OTH is not free 😂. I forsee myself making trips to the library near our home when the girls are older. Only thing I can’t be in comfy clothes; I can’t remove shoes and prop my leg n feet on cushion seat.
In library from 1438 - 1605hrs. Did a little grocery shopping for eggs and walked around leisurely, something that I’m not able to do if I need to pack food for both mom and lil’ one. Yah …. I do need these outing once in a while I guess.
After that it’s time for chauffeur duty.
