Nothing is as comforting as their mummy’s mee hoon kueh. As I had been wanting to make my corn soup, I decided to do it today as I’d be able use up all the chicken broth (should have used chicken stock) for both corn soup and mee hoon kueh. I usually don’t use chicken broth so the taste might be a little different, who cares I just needed a place to dump the leftover.

Boiled the soup with fried ikan bilis and shallots
After boiling the soup, I went on to cook my corn soup.
2hrs later - Dinner is served!
