Busy doing nothing

Most times a lot of times are spent on doing the borliao things where everybody else don’t see it, but when they need it it’s there conveniently packed or done nicely for them. 

1st Sep (Mon) 

Spent the time doing these :

1) boiled chrysanthemum and my roselle hawthorn drink. Used Ms Thermie but it means I had to pour one drink to a pot to cool down while I cook the other.

2) in between cut 3 bananas. Since I needed lemon juice to dip the bananas to prevent it from browning

3) yup! Time to squeeze out lemon juice. Sometimes I like to throw in a lemon cube in my water. 

4) peeled the longans coz … it makes it easier for hubby and me to eat. Suffer first enjoy later, as for hubby he simply enjoys 😆. 

Honestly I was able to do all these coz I didn’t cook today. If I did, I wouldn’t have the energy to do so many things. Maybe just do 1 and then I raise white flag coz after cooking and after dinner I’m always the only one cleaning and tidying the kitchen. Everyone else just leaves the plates (if they’re kind enuf to bring) in the sink. Then it’s Magician Teo to make the kitchen looks neat and cleaned. 

Frozen banana

Peeled longans. If hubby bought lychee I would also peel them. But I wouldn’t peel mangosteen at all.

Had to juice lemon using this small handheld squeezer. Very tiring for my hands but no choice. Took out my silicone molds, I had to change the ‘portion’ coz the last one I did it was too big and too sour, drink until my eyes closed shut 😌. Used Summikko mould, so cute! Unmoulded and bagged the lemon 2 days later. 

Both drinks cooled down. Pour them into the containers 

What other borliao things to do

Then there’s still those ikan bilis I need to clean leh? I clean and lil’ one sits there and helps herself to the ikan bilis 😂. OI!!!! 

The individually packing meat, or marinating and portioning the meat once back from supermarkets. Packed into cellophane bag and then taped up nicely, labelled nicely, put into the box nicely. Yah! All these takes time. Also depending on what I need to individually packed, some items I have to vacumn seal. It’s another process to do.
