Last year during her job hunt after graduation, I asked her why not give SQ cabin crew or pilot a go since she loves to travel. As I told her that, I secretly thought to myself. Maybe I can go back flying?
Definitely not SQ, it's not that I don't want to but I need to go for plastic surgery, liposuction, tummy tuck before I can do it (and can't guarantee SQ will want to take me). Can't be an old aunty still wearing blue and flying right? Aiyah! Age also over limit liao. Scoot's maximum age requirement is 30, aunty was 30 almost 20 years ago 🤣. Jetstar? Haha! As my weight and age increases, my value depreciates and cannot think about joining huge airlines, maybe budget airlines can?
I feel it's difficult for asian airlines to hire old people as they are different from european and US airlines. I know for sure I can get into those airlines. Haha! I'm even younger than the grandmothers flight attendant there. Not bad, not bad, the uniform is not tight fitting and comes in sizes. I might fit into their medium. Then with my superbly good training I received from SQ, I'll be the friendliest and best service oriented staff and NOT CHEWING ANY CHEWING GUMS cabin crew. It will take alot of getting used to it onboard for sure - sitting around; chatting with crew. But we're not relocating at all so all these are just daydreaming.
My next life, I'd want to be a cabin crew again. This time, maybe not get married and fly until I get kicked out of the company.
