Lil’ one has been having this throat irritation since last year, it got worst / on a shorter interval each time.
The last visit in June, doc was saying there could be a few possibilities. Sometimes could be gut issues, sometimes could be throat issues.
Today, I brought her to the GP again and he said he can try to get an appointment for us at Sengkang Community Hospital as a subsidised patient or he can give us a letter if we have a private ENT that we want to go. I told him our “ CHAS card is the lowest (used wrong word) category “ couldn’t make the choice then so asked if he can give me the letter first so that I can check with the man. I mean I would have opted for subsidised coz of the things that is happening now.
As what I know the green CHAS card is useless, not much benefits so I really wonder why hubby applied for the whole family.
Hubby declined the subsidised, saying we will still end up as private patient still not subsidised. The earliest slot SCH had was 18th Nov so hubby asked me to find ENT specialist in another proper hospital, preferably earlier than 18th. Gave a call back to the clinic to throw the paper away, will look for our own.
Requested for appointment via HealthHub in TTSH so now waiting for them to return message. Pray it’s nothing at all, it’s false alarm. We have too many bad news recently, I don’t need another.
Came across this in FB. Couldn’t remember the ENT specialist name until I read the comments - Dr Gerard Chee in Mt E. But no…not going back there, Mt E specialists are expensive
