Winter brands I like

I used to enjoy walking into those Outdoor shops selling tents, hiking stuffs. Not that this pretends to be to be tai-tai can tahan peeing outdoors, sleep outdoors, can’t even pitch a tent, complain abt insects etc… BUT it’s just so nice to see all those items.
With less chance of travelling, I can’t buy my winter stuffs from overseas. I can only buy it from Winter Time or Cold Wear or in those Outdoor shops. I came across brands like Mammut, Patagonia and Arc’teryx. I believe they must be good if they’re meant for mountaineering skiing. Lao-niang don’t travel that often, cannot afford to buy so expensive winter coats. So can only go for North Face or Columbia. Actually now Uniqlo stocks up on good thermal wear as well, tho sometimes the other me will convince me that the more expensive the thing is the better it is 😜.

I think the only item I bought few years ago was a red Mammut beanie. It’s warmer than the useless beanie I bought from Winter Time. I can’t afford Patagonia jacket so have to make do with my brandless one from Winter Time. Until the time my down coat doesn’t keep me warm enough then perhaps I’ll get Arc’teryx. Maybe? Or maybe chances of my coat spoiling will never happen at all since I only wear it once a year 🤣.

Another brand - Moncler
It was in 2014, in Shanghai when hubby pointed out to me this shop and said it’s a luxury brand. I think Moncler is more expensive than Arc’teryx? I don’t think I can afford it if is. And anyway Moncler suits those who are skinny and looking for fashion statement. I’m fat, will look like bak chang with extra filling, + I don’t care about fashion.
