I couldn’t remember what was the format I typed the earlier post. Thus was looking into my blog thinking I had published my first entry but I didn’t, it was still in draft since last (2024) May 😂.

Wow! Has it been 9 months since I last went? Felt the urgency to start going back when I realised my balance $$ has to be used up before April.
The physician said I haven’t been there for so long.
Yah….all the travelling last year almost every 2 months. Tho I’m not complaining about that 😜.
Reading thru the draft. I forgot I called 洪医师 the handsome kpop doctor. Muahaha! Old lady looking at young boys. Ah..now I recall 郭医师 is the one with the loud gregarious laughter.

Went down after dropping lil’ one in school and a quick stopover at Salvation Army.
Can’t remember what was the initial convo and he asked whether my left hand affected my driving. Coz my arm movement was a little restricted again as what he felt from the muscles. Auto car left hand don’t have to move so much 😂. Dunno what our silly convo led to and he ended up telling me about his car sliding backwards down at a slope in Serangoon area. He said I should drive manual so can exercise left hand. No I can’t find other ways to exercise my left hand, anyway I cannot start manual car now 🤣. .
Today kena whacked until or-chey just coz it seems like my problem is coming back again

Hands have been numbed for few days, think coz I’ve been drowning myself with cold water. Weather too hot these days.
So I learnt from 姜先生 that 郭医师 has resigned since Nov, no wonder I’ve been seeing handsome Kpop doctor all these while 😂. As far as I know about the surnames of the three 推拿师 I didn’t know what they’re called in the clinic. 姜先生 is known as 万里 、 梁先生 known as 阿梁 and 王先生 known as 云飞。
Physician came back to check and did the touch up tuina
I came across this : After Tui Na treatment, the patient will most often feel energized, happy and enlivened, however it can also release blocked emotional energy. This may result in the patient feeling emotional afterwards.

Had headaches few days. Weather?
Have been feeling some pain on the left shoulder again, I haven’t felt this for quite some time so was surprised why the pain and numbness came back. It should be getting better. Or did those pain weeks prior showed signs of reoccurrence? Or did I unknowingly in my tossing and turning, slept on my left side? I want to stop this tuina already leh! I’m trying to rush this weekly coz want to finish the credits asap before 16th April.
Said some parts hardened, dun understand what he meant. When he mentioned he will call “阿梁” I gasped in horror. The fierce man. Physician told him to do lightly so 梁推拿师 didn’t put in so much energy in his massage today. I didn’t scream mummy throughout the tuina, just bit my lips in pain.
22nd Mar (Sat)
Hand has been feeling bouts of numbness. Sleep is interrupted as the neck is painful whether I sleep on my right side or on my back. I think I really need to buy a suitable angled pillow.
24th Mar (Mon) @ 11.35am - #5 (洪医师 + 王推拿师)
I thought it’s suppose to get better, why is the pain back again? I already had the intention to stop this tuina.
During consultation, 洪医师 asked if I have been exercising my arm, the two exercises that he taught me before. And if I’ve been putting warm pillow on the affected areas. Huh? You mean I had to? Maybe that’s the reason why my recovery is slow?
Was told too I should exercise my left hand more as more of housework that we do are at an angle below the shoulder. I’m suppose to do more that I can lift my hand up. Ehh….like what? Hang clothes with the tek-gor? Reach for things in the high cabinets? Also was advised to try to look up, angle my neck upwards. I think he is not wrong, many times I’m the 低头族 looking down at work; looking down at the screen. Anyway, I’ve ordered a phone/iPad floor stand just a few days ago, hopefully that will help me to lift my head up and look at the screen 😅.

When I checked on cervical spondolysis, I’m always shown pictures of the neck. So does TCM’s cervical spondolysis and angmoh cervical spondolysis differ? Everytime they do tuina, they do the shoulder, arm and the neck area.
Now as I read on shoulder injury, there’s an injury called rotator cuff 肩袖损伤, is this what I was suffering from?

Saw this and tempted to get something like this as now I’m sitting on the bed checking my email and editing blog entries, the pillows keep drooping off my back and I have no neck support.
But 好像很浪费钱,so bulky also and will have storage problem when not in use.
Back at home, I think I’m falling sick. Had sore throat and felt so tired. At night, I sat up to sleep and had the hot water pillow on my shoulder area.

Confirmed down and out. Sick and body ache from flu + tuina. Double whammy! Slept with the hot pillow to my back which offered little comfort.
3rd April (Thu) @ 10.40am - #7 (洪医师 + 王推拿师)
There’s a ticklish trigger point when I had to slant my head and 王先生 would rub the neck. When he did that this time as well as the previous two times, it will make me cough.
I’ve been here religiously every week so why is my whatever things still so 硬? How many times should one go in a week for such tuina or body massage to make it not 硬? Me no rich tai tai to afford such luxurious pampering.
Again physician told me I need to stretch my arms up and do a lot of movements. Says I haven’t been using my hands much. But all the housework and cooking and whatever is eye level or below eye level what?! I do stretch and clean the walls around the house but it’s not as often as the other housework. So what? I think I will start to keep cleaning my ceiling and walls, by then it’ll be much cleaner than the floor. Have to keep exercising my neck too - look up and down, left and right.
Basically I can do the action on the left, but can’t do the action on the right. Used to be unable to even lift my arm up, from the last last time I did in May 2024. Hopefully I can have a full recovery. This sucks! Really! Especially sleeping.
My angle for the top right (above pic) is basically just here. Need to find exercises to help myself. Sigh…. and did one friend just told me I should learn skiing? Siao! One fall already like that, I can’t afford to have any more falls.
洪医师 returned back to finish up the touch up tuina after that.
Already want to stop and wanted to pay the remaining by cash but they don’t allow, so kena trapped again and topped up $500 instead. Means next few treatments will only get 5% discount.

Resuming back my Fight-Do class next week after a hiatus for 2 terms (6 months). Not too sure how I’ll fair, whether I’ll get numb sensations with my constant jab jab cross cross etc in fast speed. Just wait and see, don’t think too much for now.
