Cheese 🧀

Was munching on some fake cheddar cheese like a mouse 🐭 when I suddenly think of how che-che liked the Henri Willig cheese in Netherlands. Did I mention that I bought online twice? So worried about the shipping to so far far away and interacted with the staff. Not sure if anyone in Singapore would even order the cheese like me coz the shipping fees is not cheap lor! The last time I bought from them was during Covid. Each purchase had at least 8 wheel of cheese. 

Cheese is one thing I had to hurry che-che to eat them quickly coz it’s so bloody expensive. If it spoils - money wasted. But then again it’s so bloody expensive I would expect one to slowly savour every € spent. 好矛盾 right?

My kids super pampered. Good life man! I shipped in ramen from Japan, stuffs and snacks from US, cheese from Netherlands etc.. if only I could ship in tulips from there 😂. 

ABOUT 🇳🇱 

Ahh…..I miss Netherlands. I used to get questioned by many people “you travelled so much, so which is your favourite city.” I always answered them without hesitation “Amsterdam” “although I also liked London coz I felt I was home when I was there it was so easy to move around without looking at tube map, but I still liked Amsterdam.” What happened to Japan you might wonder 😂. Yah, I like Japan too. Every country, every city is so different. But Amsterdam … friendly people, the vibes is so different. The canal houses, tulips🌷 , flowers, buildings, a very inclusive city. Food wise - don’t like herring but don’t worry I won’t starve coz lots of Indonesian food around. Me always mumbling Tram 1, 2,5 to get to Centraal but I always end up preferring to walk. It’s nice to walk but in recent months I’ve noticed the Romanian pickpockets have moved their action to Amsterdam too 😢, not surprising tho coz no border control. 

Will I get a chance to go Netherlands on my own? 😬 I want to go Keukenhof for the longest time.

And after posting this entry. I was trying to recall I thought I had an entry on our Europe trip in 2018? Or perhaps posted in 2019 after we’re back. Not in my published blog and went into the >>

Guess what? 164 drafts in my blog and it went all the way back to even before 2018 🤭. Jialat! I probably went back to edit something in 2024, last year.
