Was on the escalator in Parkway Parade when I overheard this conversation between a mom and her teenage daughter.
Mother : How is it that you know what new bags Espirit sells? You go there everyday after school is it?
Daught : No.........I tell you... It's because you sent me to an ah-lian school, where all the girls will carry the ah-lian bags
Mother : Daddy, daddy (talking to husband). Why did you send your daughter to an ah-lian school
It was rude of me, but I actually was giggling when the daughter made that original comment. Now I'm just wondering which ah-lian school is it? And if it's my old school.
And then I start wondering if my girl will argue back with me next time too!
