Bread! Why didn't I think I can make bread. Took out books to refer to recipe

After cooking dinner, I got Ms Thermie to work for the 3rd time today. She's never worked so hard before 🤣. Just play around with the functions with how much I'd usually take to manually knead.

I enjoy making bread coz of the yeasty smell and the manual kneading. Ms Thermie took the workload for me today so I can wash my dishes but she keeps running away 🤣 n had to keep an eye on her just incase she wants to commit suicide. But I hate making bread coz of the time needed for proofing. Now I gotta wait.

Aunty hasn't taken a train in ???? 😂

Coz it was a last minute thing to take the train (the carpark entrance at MBS was closed for maintenance and there was no way to make a short cut across 3 lanes to make a U-turn. Thus I proceeded to park in Suntec, not bad an idea coz more food choices there.) I was told can use wallet to pay. Muahaha! I'm that suaku! And I don't even know if my EZ-link has expired or not and what's the value left inside 😂

Never knew my left foot bruise became so bad after the organ chair dropped on my foot yesterday.

Can't believe I actually threw essential oil in the potable toilet coz it smells!

Should I do up a rest roster for the grandchildren?? I'm the only elder here. All thanks to my 2 girls who wanted to 守夜 （all night vigil). Somebody has to stay over with them right? Now I'm having a headache coz have been doing laundry late every night / early morning n simple tidying up and a quick clean house using dry wipes.

Dunno if any mother faces the same problem as I do...

Reading is good, but I even have to ban her from buying any more new books until the school holidays.

Why? She gets so engrossed in her books that she sneaks reading in the night after I send them to bed, she sits on the throne longer. And ...she even has her fav books with her on her bed. I can keep it on the shelf, next morning I see them on the bed again. I suggested that she can sleep with her textbooks and assessment books; hug them to sleep I don't mind.

Better still under her pillow so all stuffs get into her brain. Keke!

Now I know why she keeps insisting I had to buy her a new storybook. She's using her storybook as her Lit text. And she told me "next time if it happens that my Lit text is a book I happen to hy, you must buy it for me!"

I don't think it'll happen again right? She don't read William Shakespeare. Heee... (not sure what the other level texts are anyway)

Saw in their FB page. Why why why do they have to close the hotel? I hope another hotel takes over the building. 

My heart hasn’t left since last year, Infact this year 还是心痒痒，很想回去. I wanted to go and stay overnight coz I want to stargaze in the open. I wanted to see the milky way as clearly as possible. People do camp during autumn, this place is as busy as it gets in autumn where the foliage is simple gorgeous. But ehh…..like ah-nia is so daring to camp ⛺️ in the open, later want to pang jio how? Later the bears 🐻 come out how? 

But now …..

Sulkier than ever, especially when I updated the next few months calendar. 🗓️ 

Sometime in late April, I thought I’d want to make a trip. Wanted to bring lil’ one to Gujo Hachiman to eat her fresh soba, wanted to bring her to some new places but ….. wanted to go back to Shirakawa-go to buy more puddings coz I want more of these bottles. Haha! Crazy thought!

Then I realised I’m also dying to buy more of my Yuzu fabric mist that I want to go to Kochi. I can also buy my Yuzu fruit, if it’s in season.

A place I’ve never been to means needs to do a lot of planning and reading up and I have no time to do up a plan in that short time - in a week or two. Probably can do it if I’m not going to cook, not going to do any housework and start wearing adult diaper. Wake up and sit down infront of the laptop and research n plan plan, only stop to eat and shower and plan till I sleep. Haha! (As if I’m going anywhere. Lemme day dream.) 

I did think of bringing her to Korea too but even worse - I don’t know Korea as much as Japan. Which means planning and researching will take a much longer time. 

Then April went by, May and still thinking about it but wasn’t sure when is her orientation day. Go or not to go? 

💭 In the meantime I can only daydream and sulk as I am stuck here in SIN.

Updating the monthly calendar. And ….. boo hoo hoo 😭. Both the man and che-che will be travelling having fun while I’m stuck in SIN end up more sulky and wrinkly. Will be holding the fort for the month of September to Oct for 5 weeks. No joke man! I would be so exhausted 崩溃. You may think the girls are older should be easier right? No ah…Princess #2 starting school in June and not sure of how her school schedule is going to be. School is so far then altho we say she needs to take bus it will take a long time to reach school/home. When everything from housework to cooking to certain chauffeuring is left all to me, it means one thing - I’d be crawling to bed more tired everyday. Although this is what I do now, but when hubby is around I can leave chauffeuring to him and sometimes he will help to vacumn the floor on Thursdays when I go for my Fight-Do class. When he’s away it means everything on solo with no help. When he’s away means I cannot be the damsel in distress and scream for help to kill the damn cockroach and scary lizard.

Needed a deliberate borliao indulgent moment to get away from the shits in my life. I could have whisked my 🍵 matcha but decided to do something different. Strangely, I think coz of the shits happening, I just wanted something PINK. I had to do something pink, I think pink will 📈 my dopamine instead of green. Not sure if it’s proven that pink is suitable for what I needed mentally, but heck if Lily says it’s pink then it’s pink. 

Not doing a big thing but just a cup of lychee tea. Oh well, the tea leaves are not pink in colour. Tea will not be pink but at least it’s not green. 

You must be wondering all I need is to steep the tea for 5mins, how can it take my mind off things for a short time? The answer is - taking photos of the steps. That will delay the simple task. Finding a nicer space in my not-so-nice house without any random things in the background. Sigh…I don’t have any nice background and now I’m thinking if I should spend the money to buy a stupid useless small collapsible photography backdrop box 😂 so I can have a cleaner background to my useless borliao photos

Again, another of my ‘why rebottling the yoghurt when I can eat it from the original packaging’. Yup! Another of one of those shitty days again. 

Deleted a bulk of it

I hope I’m ready for the coming trip. 

Deleted the iMovies from phone, deleted all the photos I don’t need. Coz usually I keep them in the deleted folder until I confirmed the iMovie can playback. 

Actually why still 1/2 storage used. Sigh….

I have voice memos which I need to transfer. I can’t figure out how. If only the xpand Sandisk can do. 

Now I won’t do anymore iMovies. I’ll take time to clear more photos from all the past holidays so that it’ll be ready for collage. 

Need to pack luggage and register MFA. Plus too many things happening, will blog it soon.
