Travel light - post Korea

Is someone, the LSS I bumped into in July's JP flight home (you know who you are), going to tell me "torlong lah Lily!...."? 🤣

From the person who hates to pack so much, I left SIN with a 13.8kg luggage bag and returned with 19kg + 3.5kg (pink bag). We don't even utilise the 70kg between us 😂

And I'm still finding ways how to pack lesser for trips 😝

I like to see people (party of 2 and 4) struggling in trains with so many luggages and comment "see lah! Bring so many bags."

How are they going to store the luggages whether they are on eurail or shinkansen? And you know the typical Singaporeans who make a hell of a noise when they get into a train “here! Here! Put here lah! Here got space. You there got space?” and jam up the entrance or worst put their luggages above other seats overhead or back row. Now, even tho I make sure to book the last row on shinkansen, I always want to be early to make sure I don’t get Stinkaporeans taking up my space I rightly booked for.

And so many luggages especially for European countries is a field day for any thieves. I don’t have any gold or diamonds in my luggage but I’d protect all my life on it, the hassle of shopping for clothes, making police report just for show coz nothing can be retrieved.

I mean I can’t put my way of packing into other families’ mentality. But really it’s absurd to see a family of 4 with 6-7 or even more bags, some of them are families with small children. They can’t help to lug the luggages especially into the hotel rooms. I still prefer to travel with less luggage even if it means I had to keep washing my clothes.
