No joke man! The dust as they hacked. Empress Dowager sat in wrong place and started coughing. đ¤Ŗ
They swept the floor so haphazardly (very normal).
After they left, I slipped in gloves and ready for operation. I cleaned the living dining area, our bedroom, the girls' room door (kept it shut so I really hope not much dust went into their room) with lots of Clorox. Followed by vacumning with the crevice stick first before re-vacumning second time, followed by mopping. Then scrubbed the toilets n kitchen n a small portion of the yard. Please don't remind me but I'll hv to do this again on Thu n maybe Fri.
Too many things in yard area. Lucky thing I was smart to bring the clothes rack into lil' one's Aricia Ting room in the morning to hang the towels first before dismantling. I think for the time being l'll have to do even smaller batch of laundry each time n hang it on the rack, I can't access my ceiling rack behind đ now that they left my oven and glass behind.
I'm tired already. Had time to go n pick lil' one up but since already activated che-che to help me today, I'"I let her do it. Ah nia needs to rest, need to nurse my knee when I slipped earlier.

Open concept kitchen. At first I was crazy enough to clean the tiles. Then stopped ..since nobody is going to see once the cabinets are up. Why make my own life difficult?
Ps. Just realised my flooring is partial pink in these pictures. Dining area yellow lights lah! My flooring is grey. đ§

Most importantly I taped up the piping to prevent đĒŗ invasion.
The drain trap. This is just a temp tape over for now. The last time I re-seal the drain was 2018/2019? So can see the tape marking on the tiles đ. I taped a board over
the drain cover, all sealed to the ground. Then taped the tile too. Leaving no exposure, I even taped up the side floor hole. đĒŗ no chance to come in. I have a lining in my cabinets to cover up the tiles and all. So do l even scrub my kitchen floor for the last 8yrs? Yes I do, but I usually do it in small section and wipe before going to the next.
The only place I can free flow splash water after scrubbing is my yard, PES and toilets. Kitchen n yard also mopped daily.
Haha! Look at the slipshod job on the grouting, and I didn't clean it
đ. OMG! Coz the cabinets were blocking
me and everytime I lift my head up from the army crawl position I get dizzy. That's why I didn't clean up the marks on the tiles. Now no excuse must regrout.
Cleaned!
Sprayed some bleach n then rinse into the pipe a few times. I'm sorry to say that even tho I pour the drain declogger or whatever you call it on normal days (not daily!), I thought it would be clean. I was disgusted when I saw the water coming out the first time I splashed water into the pipe. So sprayed bleach n rinse a few times until I see clear water.
Taped up for the time being.
Will do the floor grouting tomorrow. Don't care abt the grout lines where the cabinets are, pretend i never see anything.

I'm so tempted to do the grout lines since cabinet is out.
Crazy! Who's going to see? But I will do the floor for sure! I couldn't reach it that time, so this is the chance for me to reach that corner.
When you feel like it with only 1hr+ to kill.
But I only made it across the bridge (in 20 mins - very long) and decided to turn back coz l'm sooooo hungry.
40mins of exercising. 60mins of eating. What?!
Not bad not bad. Miss this, so aunty decided to cook ginger scallion pork for myself. It does taste like the normal ones.

That's the good thing when I'm not with the girls. I get to eat what I want. A nice lemony for this hot day.

Reminder not to drink too much water - checked!
Quiet lunch with che-che.
Contemplated if I should bring them here after picking lil' one from school. But in the end, bad mummy decided peace and being happy is what I need.
Busy taking pictures, while che-che is busy looking for books.
You know when exams have ended when she began reading in the car and had been asking to drop by Kinokuniya for the longest time.
And she came by as I was looking for her.. with a basket. She gave me the smile when she saw me looking at it. Haha! đ Is she buying a lot of books?
She has a lot of vouchers since last year.
Finally home! Long day out but worth it!

11+. Too hot. Boiled chrysanthemum for all to drink.
spent my Mother's day sick. (still had to struggle to coach Athena her Chinese - with mask on) Aricia made my day when she quickly ran into the room and told me "Teacher S say I must hug and kiss you today." *melt melt*
