Kiehl’s status - continue or not?

I do get a little confused exactly when is the expiry of my  Black Diamond membership. So when I received this, I thought ok my membership is still valid for another year from I dunno which month, maybe it’s Sep. 

Went to collect it today at Tampines Mall’s branch. And I chose this as my welcome gift. (Why did I get my welcome gift so late? I really have no idea. I thought I did receive a welcome gift early this year? Ehh…anyway my memory is failing me. Or maybe I collect my welcome gift late every year? 🤣)

Was then told if I want to renew for another year, I have to spend $252.20 before 8th Sep. Huh? So I haven’t spent so much this qualifying year, only spent $347.80. Which honestly, can be done easily when I purchase masks. But …. Now the huge problem is I buy them over the years to qualify as Black Diamond or to make up a few more dollars to get the XXX amount voucher to offset the other items. (Sometimes in a visit, I can have my bill split up). All these purchasing I end up with so many stuffs at home.  + our trips to US where the price is OMG! so cheap, I end up with even more stuffs at home. 

My points at the moment. If I don’t spend $252.20, I’ll be downgraded to Ruby 😄. Wah….quite 残忍. Usually people downgrade one level down, I downgrade double level. 

Unlikely I will make that extra purchase lah! I just came back from US with some items. Downgrade 就 downgrade 吧! Che-Che also made use of Black Friday sale where Kiehl’s price is macam like buying cheap things from Watsons like that. She bought huge bottles of calendula face wash. 

Then 有时买给她们, they also don’t use any moisturiser or serum. I’ll need to take all the boxes out to stock-take again. Perhaps should just finish whatever we have at home before I buy. For all you know, I may even be downgraded to the basic member tier for the next 2 years? 🤭
