Sigh.....rain, sun, rain, sun. Will rain the whole day (until the time I decide to return back 🤦🏻‍♀️ l as i have

laundry to do, bor sa cheng liao) today so prepare first.

When one worry if insects will suddenly drop / or bird shit drop on you from the leaves the trees open an umbrella. I kept my umbrella open altho it stopped raining. Walking really slow coz the shoe cover has no proper traction and old lady worry I fall down.

Until now 1+yr later my left arm still not healed, dowan to end up with a new injury during this trip.

And there's some weird small flies (is it only during this season?) flying around which is so irritating, I end up using most of my isopropyl alcohol spray to spray along infront and my sides as I was walking down. It kept them away from me momentarily.

Luckily I still have spare isopropyl alcohol in my toiletry bag to refill

🤣, never used that much before.

Conclusion : I'm not cut for this kind of rugged life huh? Cannot take too many pictures also coz my hands are busy.

Footnote written in 2026 : Taken in Takaoka. I think June July is the time the weird flies emerges. Really disgusting and irritating. If I had the electric zapper, I think I’ll be enjoying myself hearing the zap zap sound and feel the serial killer joy 🤣. 

Whole time when I came across all these insects, I use my opened umbrella to sweep them away from me and the other hand spraying the air around my face with isopropyl alcohol. Good thing I was alone, if not I wouldn’t know how to protect my kid or companion.

Is it fair to always blame a car / bigger vehicle driver when there's an accident involving a cyclist?

Whenever I see any cyclist ahead of me, I slow down my speed or ensure its vy safe for me to overtake him/her by keeping a distance.

Earlier incident, bloody cyclist came from a road on my left. Made an abrupt turn into my lane so quickly, fortunately no car on 2nd lane where I filtered to avoid hitting him. And what was that teenage boy doing at the same time? Fiddling n putting his earpiece into one of his ear.

So while they educate drivers to watch out for cyclists, did they educate those cyclists that the road is for everyone to use. They expect us to give in/way to them all the time?

(Anyway, same goes for some idiot pedestrians too!

They think they own the road.)
