Ippudo

We walked into Ippudo by chance in our recent trip. Somehow the name sounds familiar to me, I thought we came across this restaurant in one of our trips, turns out I probably heard of / seen them in SIN. Like what we do on most post holiday, we agreed unanimously that we should try it back home. 

In Japan. First time seeing lil’ one tucking into gyoza. She isn’t a fan of fried stuffs and things with flour-y filling. 

Better still when there’s one outlet about 15mins drive away from us. Went there for dinner today so enthusiastically but were sorely disappointed with the dining experience. 

Not nice 

Colour of broth looks paler. It’s also paler in comparison to taste. 

Why does it taste differently? We know about adjusting taste to suit locals, but this is not spicy or sweet kind of food. Japanese is more palatable to Singaporeans who often travel there. Hmm…
