Can't remember what started the conversation about painting and wallpapers, I casually mentioned at one point of time it was the hype. Many households would opt for wallpaper instead of painting. We had wallpaper on the living room walls and even ceiling in Tampines home.
Che-che remember the wallpaper, could even describe the print coz she said she rmbr laying on sofa and sticking her feet on the wall (L-shape). She was rebelling "我不要去学校“ and kicking the wall same time so she felt the texture was different. 🤣 I know this more than 15 years late. She can't remember how old she was so I'm not able to put the date to the blog. She was in K1 in 2007, she could be in kindergarten or nursery.
That reminds too she ever kicked the master bedroom wardrobe door (coz she sleeps on the mattress on the floor between the wardrobe and one bed) probably to rebel over something. Must have kicked it over a period of time and one day the door almost fell on her. Sigh..... the destroyer lucky was not injured.
