After 14656 nautical miles and 2299 miles on land we came back with 4 bags and heavy hearts. A hot SIN greeted us, a mental preparation I had a dusty house to clean, a messy PES to scrub, perhaps looking at a battered sunflower pot, unpacking n tons of laundries to be done, 4 jet-lagged zombies tho I really don't care abt the other 3 🤣
I was surprised with my 🌻 pot, it's flowering! I left with no buds in sight and was mentally prepared that I had to re-plant new seeds when I get back. My resilient flowers finally flowered. Not to mention my pathetic adenium which I finally spot a flower after a long time.
This marks the closure of 2019 and a dreaded busy-with-kids 2020 to not look forward to.

I told mei-mei I give her 6mths chance to learn to tie her own hair, if not I'll snip it off. She heave a sigh of relief. Che-che cried foul said I didn't give her chance last time. I reminded her I made her tie her own hair in P4 whereas mei-mei in P3. (It was really messy...when she went to school. I heck care her, KZ and me closed our eyes to her wisp of willows at the sides with her looking tardy.. We tolerated and she improved. I think teachers also tolerated and helped her tie her hair??)
Che-che was quiet for awhile then whined. "But then in P1,P2,P3 you cut my hair short!!! P4 it was so hard to tie....." Mei-mei was grinning away. Mummy - 🙊 Oops!

Before I left, I gave instruction for the snip length.
Che-che was "no I don't trust you." she showed how much she wanted, I actioned behind...n she was ?!?!
Sneaky mother. Then one remark, "I'm paying so listen to me." In actual fact it was against her wish to have her hair cut. But .... (in defensive mode) I didn't make her unconscious n drag her into the salon.
Muahahahaha! Ok...actually it's daddy paying not mummy paying. He would say "listen to your mummy" anyway.
Hmm....a little shorter than what I asked but ...her hair grows fast so heck lah!
Can't wait for 2014 to end. It had been a year filled with many grieves.
Looking forward to 2015 and may many blessings shower upon everywhere in the world and everyone I know.

We're thankful to God for bringing wonderful people into our lives.
Today marks the last day of school for Aricia, where she has spent 2 great years there.
Wonderful memories of the teachers; aunties and friends will remain etched in our minds.
